Especially good when you consider that the rest of those on the list are either massive local derbies or a trip for a lower club to a top PL team.

Wembley - 39,000
MK Dons away - 7833
Brighton away - 4700
Nott County (play offs) - 4500
Notts County (league) - 4100

Considering we could have sold significantly more for the Notts County and Brighton games, it really does show the huge numbers travelling to matches outside of Coventry.

Brighton wasn’t sold out. The club released a further 300 tickets after the initial allocation of 4500 sold out, but these did not sell out.

Yeah, far too late for people to make plans.

Immense from Luton to Newcastle too. That's nearly their entire home gate.

Sunderland took 8000 today to Blackpool. They probably had 75% of the crowd. That's gotta be a record for 2 teams in same div.

I'd be more impressed if a few more of them turned up for run of the mill games at the Ricoh.

It shows we have a healthy core with some spritely bandwagoners for one off games.

Any team with a following of a thousand or more is towards 50% of the gate there? There were only about 1k Blackpool tops when we played there (published figures different)

Crowd was 11k

So obviously 3 thousand home fans.

It wasn’t though. They only get around 1000-1500 actually through the door. Another one they’ve missed is Wimbledon who took just under 8k to Spurs.
