I paid for the fixfootball.co.uk domain last year, I just got the option to renew it for another year for £6, seemed like a waste of money so I cancelled it. So if anyone cares about having fixfootball.co.uk link to the petiton (I can't even remember what it said) you'll have to rebuy the domain and relink it sorry. I'm pretty sure this will affect no one but seemed rude just to cancel it without mentioning it.
I only paid £2.50 for it last year, you can't currently buy it probably because I only just canceled but it might well pop back up again for a couple of quid in a few days. I brought it from www.godaddy.com The trust are welcome to buy it if they wish they don't need my permission. You can buy fixfootball.uk for a fiver thats probably an even better domain.
godaddy, I got an e-mail a couple of weeks back saying it expired (and will be automatically renewed) on the 17/02/2015, I was going to ask people here and then cancel it in the week before. however this morning they e-mailed saying they had charged my card £6.50 for another year. So I thought screw that I rung up and asked for a refund which they gave me instantly and without argument, the domain immediately disappeared though, I'd expected it to last until the 17th.
It was calling on the government for something I think but I barely remember, the petition wasn't on the website, the website just automatically redirected to the petition, it had about 20k signatures I think but whoever has pushing it micheal I think really struggled to get anymore and it mostly died a death.

Realistically football in this country is finished. The biggest single problem is the Sky deal and the cash that comes with it. SISU are a symptom of this problem.
The government are in thrall to the Murdoch media, imagine a proposal to fix football by merging the Premier League and the Football League and abolishing the sale of TV rights? It wouldn't get anywhere.

It needs to change. This was discussed at the Neworking event I was at tonight. We're in an election year so you never know. This is the time politicians will listen and take on board what we think.
