Can anyone suggest why SISU might pass this?
Could be crucial in the coming weeks.

Seem to remember when Pompey we're in admin the FL would only accept the supporters trust bid when a bid from Keith Harris' consortium came in. Maybe they'll do the same with sisu. Don't know if it was anything to do with being fit and proper though.

As the Chinese used to say in Mao's day, it's a Paper Tiger. People like Carson Yeung have already driven a coach & horses through it, so a little matter of being an unscrupulous hedge fund is a neither here nor there

Yes they did... but that was before the 'catastrophic insolvency', isolation of supperters, catalogue of poor decisions and the reluctance of any organisation or individual in the city to enter into any kind of business deal with them.

I asked this way back when Dulux was in charge. The response I got from the league was disappointing. The reality is the fit and proper tests used bare relatively easy to pass. Its basically a criminal records check and a credit check.

What is more disturbing is the relatively innocuous info but perfectly valid point I raised with regards to the website.

Whilst it is a trivial technicallity to some, it IS something that MIGHT just trip up sisu.

Perhaps the trust now they have been shamed into action might instead of trying to belittle and ridicule should look into EVERY possible avenue where sisu have tripped up.

Bear in mind that the website fact IS in the league rules, and might just be the final push.

Considering they are claiming the membership fees are for a fighting fund, thensurely a few quid determining if their are any technicalities to kick out sisu must surely be asked.

After all asking an administrator to answer questions that he will NEVER answer (hardly going to incriminate himself).

However, the sisu CANNOT avoid answering to questions of breaking league rules!

Just a thought!

They wouldn't have to pass it. Realistically ownership will only be maintained if they can prove holdings owns the rights to league football.

True however the first time they past it was just a couple of years after a high court judge called Joy dishonest amongst a few other things! The FL will surely not make the same mistake again will they?

Are you sure Grendel? We've been deducted points and the share will now be with the FL, wherever it rested before. Surely after any admin the FL will apply the test to anyone taking the club on?

That is the logical assumption but sisu holdings are clearly acting as if they still own the club. They will have supplied evidence to the administrator that they own the football league share and that they will challenge any alternate view.

Any new buyer could in theory lodge a bid to buy the share with the football league.

This should be the focus now of the trust and any new investor. Sisu need now to be frozen out and the league can do that. The league seem somewhat silent and this is very worrying.

We need to focus on two outcomes.

Outcome one - as above and get a new owner to the league and force sisu's hand

Outcome two - of the league concede an error was made and sisu holdings own the club they have to still play at the Ricoh
