Without taking it at face value, what did he actually say?

He talked about a vision and a way forward to build the club.
He talked about bringing in 'young talented players' to a development squad.
He said they were negotiating improved budgets for this and academy.
The sums involved were not trivial.
Did not rule out Admin, but certainly hoped it would not happen his watch.
Asked if he can resign existing players under embargo he said they can talk about contracts and ratify them after they exit the embargo (he managed to avoid saying they can't directly!).
He said SISU are not about to sell, it was the "farthest thing from their minds"
He said they had funds for loans they wanted, but those players didn't want to come to Coventry
He said there were other loan offers, but only of players who were not fit enough & AT didn't want to take them because he thought it would not improve matters

What didn't he say?
The academy was safe
When the accounts would be filed, times were rather open ended
Options in the event of relegation were not talked about
Why they failed to conclude negotiations before the deadline

That is a radically different view to what many posters on here have speculated about. Were they listening?

Players who obviously want to come here to Coventry because of Andy Thorn don't want to come to Coventry? :thinking about::thinking about:

It doesn't surprise does it then Premiership players - bit part or otherwise - do not want to join a relegation battle. They want to collect the dosh and warm a bench somewhere else. Fair enough. It really just makes me admire players like Norwood and Nimley a little more as they had the gumption to roll their sleeves up and play football, regardless of how unglamourous their surroundings.

I was just having a bit of a dig at those few on here who said loan players were coming here because of Andy Thorn.

This seems to show that is not the case.

How can fisher talking about SISU being in for the long haul and talk about future development and then on the other hand say that admin is a possibility???

If they are here for the long haul then why is there an issue about future funding of the club and the reason we have a transfer embargo and accounts not submitted!!!

I did & I thought it would be a suitable topic of discussion. Hence my post & summary.

"Nothing could be further from there mind" is a blatent lie or why would they be talking to the Hoffman consortium as its not for investing with sisu as no one in there right mind would co invest.

They are the owners of the club so did they just happen to forget that they may have to fund the club to keep it going. Fisher is the latest spin merchant from sisu. Full of half truths and the same old routine from sisu

Fisher is the face of sisu and it's Fisher any protest group should target.
