no probably not but a good interviewer should phrase questions so they have no valid excuse not to answer, when someone is going to spin and evade during an interview everyone listening should be fully aware that the person has just being spinning and evading. When someone says they can't answer because X, then remove X from the equation and they will have to come up with another good excuse very quickly or be shown up.

Tim Fisher has come out of interviews over this whole mess looking much better to the general public than he should of done, every interview his lies and spin should have been called and he'd have been humiliated every interview.

He was basically claiming initial talks with these councils went very well as they wanted the investment from SHITSU the ground would bring. What proof have they given the councils and FL of funding?

If true that doesn't make sense does it.

Maybe Fisher is a bit thicker than I thought if he answered 'Why not do a short term deal?' with 'When ACL give us our points back.'

He said that as an off the cuff, then muttered we won't talk to them and tried to claim they are looking at a positive future now and as season had started they are fully focused on the pitch.

The FL should hang their heads in shame. All they had to do was refuse the groundshare and there were no grounds to grant it in the first place. Its an absolute fucking farce.

Have I missed something. I didn't think it was just acl who rejected the Cva. Also it was the football league that took their points not acl so what a stupid pointless statement to make.

We and the football league already knew that though. "Coventry area" has been a phrase in use for months.

CVA rejection is automatic points reduction and they were the only one who rejected it that had an influence.

Good work on the video. I couldn't watch it all. Fisher comes across as such a massive sighing prick.

He did indeed say he wouldn't talk to ACL. 'Not at all' he emphasised.

Bit of a shift from his chat last week when he was more than happy to talk to them!

It's time for SISU top management to take control here.

Tim Fisher needs sacking on todays performance alone.
I would say it's his baby and he can't see the wood for the trees.

Joy sack him, send him to the wolves, and take control.
You can still use Tim as a scapegoat do the right thing and come out smelling of roses.

What i don't believe is that Sisu have provided funding to the football league for the next 3-5 years !!!
How is this possible when Sisu have struggled to do this for a 1 year period up to now !!!
That has been the reason given for a transfer embargo each year waiting for Sisu to sign off the seasons funding !!!

They were owed £600 and as such would not be classed as a major creditor so had no involvement in the process.

HMRC were so 'not involved', that if they had accepted the CVA, it would have been passed....yes not influential at all

Right, the key bit:

O'Connor: I've had a text here this morning from Steve, who says 'why don't you do a short term deal with ACL for 3 years until you've built your new stadium?' And that way the fans get what they want, and you kind of get what you want, don't you?

Fisher: Yeah well if they can give us our ten points back, then we might sit down and have a chat.

O'Connor: Y-y-you're not going to entertain that at all?

Fisher: Huh, not at all Shane. We set out with a very clear vision for 3 years, and we've committed to 3 years financially, up to 5 with slippage on the new stadium, and we'll, you know, stick to that.

Because as he said we have been re-capitalised or in other words the money their investors lost last week has been shoved back in to the company in the way of exorbitant repayments on the money they will now put in over the next three years while he builds the Joy Sepalla legacy bowl in the middle of Solihull or Rugby or somewhere!

He's still saying 3 years too, it sounded impossible to start with it's getting even less likely, are we any closer to building than we were at the fans forums? it doesn't sound like it to me.

As difficult a decision as it might be the only way now is for SISU to have competition, by that I mean another Coventry club playing at the Ricoh. If Haskell or Byng's lot could buy the Ricoh and fund a phoenix club to play at the Ricoh then SISU would have competition. Protests are not working and Fisher thinks they will dwindle over the next few months (and he is probably right). I cannot see any other way to get rid of SISU -- they would continue to fund CCFC even if no fans turned up at Sixfields. The only way to get rid of SISU is out of our hands -- it needs someone to persue this in Court now. If protests are not working -- can anyone else come up with a serious suggestion (other than protests) to get rid of SISU ?

Byng is in with SISU somehow. He's not an 'opposition to' option. Haskell could be.

Why have the FL allowed it then? You aren't cracking a case and coming up with groundbreaking news.
I course I can 'comprehend' that information. My point is we already knew that wasn't the case as do the league.

Good work on suggesting I'm a peado you strange creature. And what is it in retaliation to?
Where I said you are a mong or liked to go to gay bars? Nothing wrong with either of those things.
Where as being a peado is a serious crime and quite an accusation.

Do you honestly believe that accepting it would have made any difference to SISU's plans?

There would just have been a different excuse, sorry reason, for staying in Northampton.
