I think we played pretty poorly second half but looked solid, we gave away possession way too easily.

But when Ipswich players think they played well and its hard to swallow, then I suppose it shows the difference in levels when we are the one who came away with 3 points having played several gears off our best

It’s risky but look at the games since Pompey and in fact second half at Rotherham we have been so solid. Unless you listen on cwr or watch the comments on here. The commentary on sears chance was laughable

The best and most successful teams can play pretty or play dirty. The league is not one match but 44 ...and if you win that then you are better than all the other teams. Doesn’t matter about their bleating, doesn’t matter that they felt hard done by in the match against you. Nobody remembers bitter failures...only champions.
And for the record we are the best footballing side in L1, have conceded the fewest goals, and have fewer losses in a season in English football than all but the European Champions.

So to all those who say we don’t deserve to be top...look at the table it’s the only indicator that matters.

The delusional thing about what Skuse said was that we had ‘only 1 shot’. Both teams had 2 shots on target, they missed a clanger, and so did Gooden. On top of that, we had 2 more shots in total.

Don’t get me wrong, it was a pretty even game and on another day, Ipswich should’ve scored - but maybe read the stats before making silly claims like that after a loss.

How good is it to have a team that can pass the ball to death, look incredibly solid at the back, and can battle with the physical teams. That is why we have only lost 3 games this season, and why anybody saying we aren’t a good side are either talking out of their a*** or are incredibly jealous
