Ok so first home game of the season can we not go to the Ricoh and protest, if the Ricoh charge £2 entry or something to cover stewards cost, we all go to Ricoh for 90mims have a pie and a pint at half time. Can you imagine how stupid sisu would look. Any thoughts and ideas.

Im keen. Get them to radio the game. We all chant and sing like we always do. Would probably be the best 'game' at the ricoh in years.

Jimbo from Twist and Shout has tried to see If the league would allow a stream.

They could even do a hog roast on the pitch. Would be well tasty.

Lets go to Northampton, clap the team coach as it comes in then have a singsong in car park. SISU will get charged for double policing.

If I remember correctly there's a hill behind the stadium, if everyone stood there you could see some of the game and the players would be able to see that we were still supporting them.

Maybe a Coventry City legends game, at least people will get a 'game' to watch, plus if enough City legends were to play it would send a powerful unified message of support.

That right, great idea. You can actually see part of pitch from the hill and pub next to it.

GREAT IDEA.

I would travel from Leeds to either the Ricoh or Northampton to protest. I suspect it might actually be a more entertaining way of spending 90 minutes if last years home form is anything to go by.

I seriously expect some obstruction with buying tickets for away away games ,if they can do it without FL sanction.

Was thinking the exact same thing, I would definitly be up for going to the Ricoh to show our support. There would be nothing to gain from it but just to prove a point and stick the middle finger up at SISU.

It would no doubt get some media attention and highlight what a disgrace this whole situation is.

If the worst comes to the worst - ONE City fan with a mobile phone commentating - the recipient's phone plugged in to the PA - hurrah! Solved

I like this idea most of all. A few fans on the hill outside of the ground to make some noise too is a good idea.

I dont know how much if any policing etc they would need (my theory based on 0 facts) as it isn't a sporting event or anything in that nature, surely they could just leave the gates open and a few food stalls. They would have the insurance etc already so like you said just a bit of stewarding.

It would help ACL as well, they would look quite good in the media.

What we need if a media event and a bigger attendance than the 'home' game, that will make the papers & the BBC for sure, especially if the numbers exceed a pathetic attendance at Northampton by a considerable margin.

Can be at Ricoh or at a local club, but must be promoted locally & supported by the true fans of the cub.

Just throwing something in here - as I believe City fans have been too trusting and nice about all this - what about disrupting the first 'home' game - if it does turn out to be Northampton? I'm not calling for violence - just maybe a mass sit in at the ground. Or outside it, Northampton I mean. Make staging our 'home' games there unworkable. Too much trouble for them. Northampton won't want us with that going on surely?
Just a thought.
Equally I'm up for the Ricoh thing. We've got to stop being so nice about it.
I'm off to bed and maybe just maybe, I'll wake up tomorrow & the League will tell Otium to do one.

I am with you on this one.
Also the poice costs would be added to Fisher and his boss.
Just peacfull but 500 outside and only 400 inside would look terrible and add to costs.
Also put hard core very stickers everywhere, extra cost for cleaning.

If Wimbledon can have a Hedman Hill why can't we have SkyBlue Hill. complete with banners chanting and plenty of city fans

That hill at Northampton is a great idea, most people will pay more attention to the noise up ther than at stadium.
Imagine the extra police costs lol

Can get a good view of half the pitch from the hill behind the goal. A few years ago they played Man Utd in the Cup and the hill was fenced off for safety reasons. It is pretty steep and the land not that stable. The site was a landfill tip and still hasn't settled properly, you'll see that by how bumpy the roads are.

I live in Northants but won't be going to Sixfields. Like the idea of large crowd on hill but previous experience shows they may block it off. I guess it costs to put up a fence.

I would imagine SISU would breach some kind of broadcasting contract if they did stop it. However, has breach of contract stopped them before. :jerkit:

Yes thought of this too - needs to be done, make use of the empty 30000 stadium for mass protest - very symbolic and media-wise would go viral

Doubt we could get a stream without SISU getting paid though
