His performance on Saturday was definitely of a player worried about picking up his 5th yellow card. Wonder if he'd have performed better had he realised it was only his 4th he could have, and ended up earning?

IMO he is dreadful and we desperately need a more natural ball winner / leader in the centre, Finch is nowhere near ready and has been very very poor.

No idea what Pressley sees in him every pass is to the nearest man even when they are marked in a tight position, never takes the ball forward or indeed plays it forward.

I feel sorry for the lad-he is nowhere near ready for the first team yet.
His continued selection by Pressley will destroy him eventually, he is already the "boo boy" where I sit. Barton has to be the better option, Finch should be getting games off the bench at most along with Haynes whos form has also dipped thanks to being over used IMO.

I'd bring Barton and Thomas back in and rest finch and drop fleck.

Finch offered nothing on Saturday too young and inexperienced for that role, our midfield didn't work only maddog JOB provided any creativity and that was pretty limited.

THey should have made it more interesting and photographed him with a ticket to the Wasps game.

It shows how good our squad is that JOB has won the last 3 months on the trot "player of the month". Apparently, that hasn't happened in the history of the award.

yes possibly but don't we need something else such as intelligent passing ability to take on and beat a man, or even shoot - we are so short of goals as we have a team full of players who haven't scored goals in the recent seasons. Not blaming it all on Finch but we need something a bit more effective in midfield

Obrien is being used in the wrong position, we could of had a midfield of Baker Obrien, Fleck Swanson / Marshall, but no, we decide to put O'Brien on the right where he has not got the pace, but certainly the skill and passing ability their, and play Finch who has not got a hope in hell of spraying a pass in the middle.

For me a decent winger with pace, and play Obrien and Fleck in the centre would create alot more opportunities for our strikers.

I don't think fleck and o'brien would work in a 2. In fact fleck struggles in a 2 anyway, hasn't got the mobility, can't tackle and his passing has been piss poor of late.

I have got to admit I'm really looking forward to not going through the emotional graft that is a Saturday matchday this weekend.
I am taking the missus to Rome for the weekend coming back Tuesday (it's her birthday and I am sick of buying her jewellery and perfume so I thought I'd go for some big brownie points which hopefully will get me a bit of cracking humpy pumpy as well) .

We are staying right in the centre so won't have to worry about taxis or shite like that, we will stroll round the place taking in as much as we can.

is it just me looking forward to not having the mood roller coaster that is matchday ?

how many of you will nip down the butts for a pint and a watch of egg chasing ?

What disappoints me is the fact I have a season ticket I had never heard of Jack Finch. Is it because he is shite? is it that too many come and go? am I just an old fart who is losing his marbles? Or is it that I just don't hive a fuck? I used to get able to know who was who. The other week my boys were mascots. We went to the changing room and I only recognised Fleck, I didn't have a Scooby who any of the others were.

To be fair Finch has been largely innocuous should be nowhere near the start xi in centre mid.....so many better options......personally think Thomas is due a recall and could move O'brein across to centre and sling swanson and maddison out wide

Finch shows nothing to suggest he'll ever develop into even a league one standard midfielder (The same goes for Thomas and Daniels).
