Gary Hoffman has said very little about any takeover a couple of small pieces in the local rag with little more than hope something can be done. I just fail to understand this bile aimed at him and for that matter Richard Keys. GH has promised nothing other than hope, kept his head down, still attended away matches quiet openly, not gone into any detail whatsoever. I am certain this TIMS person is not a Sky Blue far too anti hope for me, i suggest we just ignore him.
I agree 100%, debate is healthy and alternative points of view too, but when these views and opinions on individuals are accompanied by bile, hatred, insults etc,etc. surely that deminishes proper debate. This TIMS character i believe is not a Cov fan, can't be.Yes let's ignore him just because he presents an alternate view on a debating forum to that you don't want to hear.
TIMS is far too anti-Hoffman for my liking. Makes me very suspicious. Appears to go past just not trusting in the guy and aims more at completely dissing him.
Have no problem with people not buying into what Hoffman is trying to do, but there are degrees. Just seems the same agenda with TIMS over and over. Why not just deal with each piece of individual news story on its own individual merits?

Agreed Otis. How can someone have so much hatred and distrust for someone who is trying his best to dig us out of the more we find ourselves in? There will always be the, too stupid to understand brigade, always wanting answers to questions and then get all arsey and defensive when none are given. These things take time and patience and both are needed right now. Personally I hope Hoff succeeds and then the likes of TIMS can fill there bellys with humble pie, munch on fella

Afraid I don't share this optimism about a Chinese takeover.
They are very hard-headed business people and would be looking for a return, as would any serious business interest. I still feel it would be wise to have some sort of supporters' co-operative in place (a la Wimbledon) for the long-term interest of the club.
Chinese do not do altruism.

He doesn't though, does he? That's you, generally speaking: TIMS is quite rabid in his opinions to the point that it takes Devils Advocate to a new level. That doesn't read as someone presenting an alternative, thought and debate-provoking in its line of enquiry. It comes over as somebody saying what they think will piss off as many people as possible. How so? Well most fans would want the club rid of SISU, and most would certainly like to see the club incredibly wealthy and set up for life. Others are suspicious of Hoffman, or think the manager isn't very good. But to simply hate both, when they are both trying to do their best for CCFC in difficult circumstances, and to the degree that TIMS does...well that's beyond having the clubs interests at heart. That's wanting the club to fail, to be relegated, to die.
And people call Prince a wum?!? If he is, then these two are approaching such practices from opposite ends of the spectrum: one by pretending to be helpful, one by clearly being confrontational.
I could be wrong but his posts remind me of an ex poster on this site and a wum from the CET site that went under names such as Ghudsonlad, wehatebesty, wehategunnarson, howzer and many more.
I could be wrong, but the bile, dislike of the telegraph, trying to wind people up, trying to get people going and assorted stuff seems all too familiar.
