I honestly don't think Wilson is much (if any) better.

I'm torn between never playing Collins again or just sticking with him.

I agree, it's a fine line. I genuinely do not know which direction to go in... but, whoever it is, they need better protection from defence, in particular down our left hand side.

Absolutely. It's not all 100% Collins, the defence needs to step up. We've been conceding two in a few games even with Dovin in goal. Just blaming Collins is the easy thing to do.

And what if Wilson does? We're really between a rock and a hard place here. I don't envy Lampard and the choice he has to make.

Wonder if people would still laugh if I said Moore was better than both.

I think 3 wins and a draw would just about do it given everyones' fixtures, on the basis that we avoid defeat Vs WBA, and Bristol don't consistently keep winning, given their tough fixtures. If we can get them before the Middlesbrough game them we will know what we need out of that game.

It might actually be to our benefit if 'boro go on a run and seal 5th early...

However, I don't think just scraping in is a good omen, ideally we win 3 out of Pompey, Hull, Plymouth and Luton, and beat 1 of Boro or Baggies at home to give us some confidence

Yeah I thought that but at least Wilson has a clean slate as such. I personally find it a lot more tolerable with a Wilson mistake than Collins. At least it’s trying something and no the same outcome over and over again.

We all know Wilson has a mistake in him, but they're not as often as Collins at the minute, and he has a better rapport with the fans, meaning that the atmosphere will be more conducive to a good performance, rather than the nerves creeping in for everyone.

Wilson is also capable of making a big save at some point, which Collins doesnt seem to do. Even if he's only half fit, get him some painkilling injections and get him in

Would Wilson have fucked Kitching over on Saturday? No way he comes out of his box, tells Kitch to head it back or clear it.
You never hear Collins shout at his defenders, so quiet and indecisive
Wilson is the opposite and that’s what we need most

Agree, clear the ball, the man and anything else in the way, take the consequences after.

12 points would probably be enough granted we don’t make it harder for ourselves against Boro or WBA

Hope you’re right but to me that is very optimistic.
Everyone including Portsmouth needs a result against us as their season hasn’t finished and they still have something to play for.
What could be worse is that Plymouth and Luton are down by the time we come to play them and they play freely without any pressure. In the past when this happens suddenly those teams start winning.
I’m hoping to get to 70 points not sure if that will be enough. Would love a boring 0-0 with Middlesbrough final match of the season and both of us qualify.

If Collins plays against Portsmouth then you watch the Portsmouth players, they will be shooting from everywhere.

I'll back whoever is in goal v Pompey. If it is Collins, and he has a howler, then it probably is the final straw. What I will say, is conditions should be pretty much perfect for a keeper, No rain, wind, sun in his eyes etc. I'd be a lot more nervous if he was playing in goal for us with it chucking it down, with the ball like a bar of soap. Let's hope he has a quiet non-eventful game, we get 3 points, and talk about the positives.

I think we will have a better idea in 6 games time. Seriously though it's near impossible to call, it all rests on our keeper.

West Brom’s the only game I’m worried about Hopefully we’ll be a few points clear of them by the time we play them, then a draw isnt a bad result, keeps them below us, think we”ll have 5th space tied up by the Luton game

Go with Wilson the rest of the season. Simple as that. We’re running out of games and excuses to justify selecting Collins. Wilson deserves a shot.

Collins has to go

Unfortunately his confidence is clearly gone (certainly after Saturday if not before). I don't think he trusts himself, I don't think our defenders trust him and surely every striker in the league would jump at the chance to face him.

Wilson seems well liked by players and fans, and he can be decent. I don't particularly rate him but it has to be done.

Ive been quite vocal in my stance of 'no play offs without Dovin' stance

And i stand by it

Play Collins AT ALL in the final 6 we wont make it

Play Wilson in all of the final 6 maybe we have half a chance, i don't rate him a
but he's 10 times the keeper Collins is

The football gods however will set us up with another final day shootout winner takes all v Boro

PMA - we’ve got great shot still, and I’m pretty confident we make it, then who knows.

Wednesday is a big call on GK front - for everyone’s sake, including Brad he needs to sit out, put everything to one side, he’s a human and will be feeling horrific I’m sure.

last game I think we both will have made it, it’s a 5th/6th shoot out.

nowhere As bad as Collins but dovin has had his moments, both derby goals you’d be disappointed with, and hamers goal, was Thinking maybe we’ll just get a loan keeper in until he’s fit again but maybe Lampard will get a new no1, as good as dovin is think we can get better ?

Disappointed with hamers goal?! Christ tough crowd.

1st goal at derby, yes should have been stronger I think, 2nd not his fault.
