Imagine that would be more than enough to get us top six and have a lot of momentum behind us.

If we win the next two, I think we'll do it.

Lose either of them, I think we miss out.

I think 70 will be enough, 11 points.

Back to back wins now v Pompey and Hull would be huge.

Think Collins will cost us too many points to make the play offs now.
Saturday just confirmed the concerns most of us have about him.

70 points will be more than enough. So 11 points.

4 wins and 2 losses does the job. It’s as simple as that really. Totally in our hands

If we don’t do it with these fixtures then we aren’t good enough and don’t deserve it.

thing is, if you start playing wilson, and he makes some howlers, then you put collins back in, and he needs time to adjust it all becomes a nightmare.

do you just play collins, better the devil you know, and just grind out the results?

I just can't even begin to predict it.

Nothing would suprise me if we get 0 points or 18 or anywhere in between. But as said above, if we dont do it with these fixtures then we deserve nothing and the squad is proved as not top 6 material.

This is the issue. It's a huge call wednesday. Drop collins and thats it for what little mental strength he had left.

Win the next three games (includes our game against WBA) then I think the top 6 is ours

Personally I'd play Wilson, (if he's fit), though he's nowhere near Dovins level.
But Collins is a liability.

Agree with you.

Collins has gone way past point of return now. For his own good also.

4 points from next 2
Draw WBA
One win from the following 2 away games

so WDDWL doesnt sound too intimidating

That will then set us up for a Play off for the Play offs v middlesbrough

Hope you’re right but to me that is very optimistic.
Everyone including Portsmouth needs a result against us as their season hasn’t finished and they still have something to play for.
What could be worse is that Plymouth and Luton are down by the time we come to play them and they play freely without any pressure. In the past when this happens suddenly those teams start winning.
I’m hoping to get to 70 points not sure if that will be enough. Would love a boring 0-0 with Middlesbrough final match of the season and both of us qualify.

Having to play 4 of the bottom 8 sounds good but they'll be scraping to stay up.

MUST get 3 points vs Pompey on Wednesday. I can't have the local lot banging on about beating us 4-1 AND getting a decent result in Cov.

I know it's harsh but winning games with Collins will be hard. We already concede soft goals, he (and in fairness Wilson) were a big reason why our form was so bad under Robins. Really hope we can find a way to score 2 or 3 in games for the remainder. Saturday felt all too familiar

I think there isn't as much in them right now and I like Wilson's organising and character, Dovin better with feet and general distribution. Both great stoppers, both could improve on catching. Where Dovin wins is he has a much higher ceiling (imo) where as Wilson is at his peak.

I think we'll win this one and then momentum can build again, but we can't be complacent and let's not forget that Derby did the double over us!

Get Wilson in next game and stick with him. how many more games and chances do you give Collins. Hes cost us another 10 points this season all ready

I honestly don't think Wilson is much (if any) better.

I'm torn between never playing Collins again or just sticking with him.

I disagree on Collins being a great shot stopper. He parry’s everything back into the danger area. Its another calamity waiting to happen

Yeah I don’t think Wilson is any better in reality however I’m at the point of playing the youth keepers we have and I genuinely mean it. Sounds harsh but the playoffs are at stake here. What if Collins makes another howler Wednesday and costs us the game? I dread to think

It really could go either way. Have to take it one game at a time because none are straight forward as teams are fighting off relegation or going for promotion.

I think we will get 3 wins but we may need more.

But no point thinking about that. Just focus on trying to get 3pts on the board Vs pompey

I can't believe we have lost dovin at this point of the season. We had such a great chance to make playoffs and a fighting chance to win it

We still do btw but less so. I hope Collins can step up. Maybe he has hit rock bottom now and only way is up?

If we play to our potential, we can keep the 'keeper' element out of the equation.

That's very true. He nearly always seems to parry the ball straight back into the middle of the goal, rather than palm stuff away.

I don't like to be too harsh on him, but I think he needs taking out of the firing line for his own good.

He's not going to be confident going into the Pompey game is he. He's probably going to be a bag of nerves
