It should have been on DAZN as they are showing every match for free

Club World Cup: More than 400,000 empty seats so far

Attendances have been low in the United States with the Club World Cup being treated as a dress rehearsal for next summer's World Cup.
www.bbc.co.uk

Stadiums have been 56.8% full, with more than half a million spectators attending.

Nine stadiums have been used for the first 16 matches of the tournament, with a combined capacity of 979,373.

The total attendance at matches has been 556,369, with 423,004 empty seats.

Of the 16 matches played so far, half of the matches have seen attendances below 50% of the capacity of the stadium.

I watched it on DAZN, as said it's free. You have register for the free account and scroll passed the "premium" paid stream but they are all there for free.

They should have held it in South America, where the people actually care about the
club World Cup, rather than the U.S, especially with it being the 1st expanded one.

Must be open to takeover from the USA I'd have thought, can't be that outrageous can it?

This game’s irritating as shit to watch. Ref blowing for everything, 5 yellows before HT (6 inc the Fluminense manager). Fluminense being very S American with shithousing, crowding ref, rolling round.

Can’t remember much actual decent play

Tiago Silva was great in this match. Cruised through the game at 40yrs old. Class act

Would love a old warrior in the mold of him to slot into our back line

You'd imagine the players playing for the European teams at least will be buzzing to go out of this competition and finally go on their summer holidays

I watched the 1st 20 minutes of the 2nd half (was too hot to sleep) and they really did get spanked in that period
Let 2 in, another penalty not given due to an earlier offside, and every attack they looked in trouble (I then fell asleep and they had lost when i next woke up)

Stuck tonight’s game on while I ate but watched the whole thing, turned into a decent game.

I’ve seen that tickets for Chelsea’s game later are on sale for £8 because they’re expecting a low attendance. Explained away by it clashing with a 4th of July concert in the same city.

Should have been a sellout for that match, they'll be safer there you'd hope
