Fleck is 67

Also, noticed our players grow very quickly, I'm 5 games into my career mode and:
Murphy 66
Clarke 65
Cameron 63
Wood 64
Hussey 65
Jennings 67
Thomas 63
Baker 62
Fleck 68
McGoldrick 65
McDonald 67

Also, the rating in the OP are the ones when you have EA Match Day turned on which changes them based on form, in reality the ratings are actually higher than this, eg Jennings 68, Barton 65, McDonald and Elliott 67

For those wondering, we have a budget of £700'000 and a wage budget of £6000. The board refused to offer me addition funds at the start of the season, giving the reason that they hadn't see enough of me yet, and to ask again in January. Career mode is very, very good this year.

Wait sorry you are probably right because the single player - (career mode) is diffferent to ultimate team they did this last year.

The Ultimate Team ratings are the base ratings, career mode ones have been affected by EA Match Day

They clearly did these ratings without ever watching them play. Some of them are higher rated than in FIFA 12

Overall ratings mean very little in reality. If you look at the players individual attributes they look pretty accurate don't they?

Into November of my career mode, absolutely cruising at the moment, 9 point clear or something ridiculous like that. Playing 4-2-3-1 with a set up of:
Murphy - 66
Clarke - 66 (+2)
Cameron - 63 (+3)
Edjenguele - 63
Dodo - 68 (On loan from Roma)
Jennings - 68 (+2)
Thomas - 64 (+3)
Baker - 61
Fleck - 69 (+3)
Potter - 61 (Signed from Oxford)
McDonald - 67 (+1)

Fleck is absolute quality in this formation as a CAM, 5 goals and 5 assists in 11 games with an average match rating of 8.2. McDonald is the leading scorer in the league with 8 and Callum Ball is a quality impact sub. Scored 4 coming off the bench for me in the two cup competitions with another three off the bench in the league.

What formations are you all playing with City? I've gone 4-2-3-1 with a team of:
Murphy 69 (+3)
Clarke 64 (+4)
Cameron 65 (+5)
Edjenguele 66 (+2)
Dodo 70 (+4) - on loan from Roma
Jennings 69 (+3)
Thomas 66 (+4)
Baker 63 (+2)
Fleck 72 (+6)
Grant 66 (+1) - Signed from Wycombe
McDonald 70 (+4)

Dunn 61 (+2)
Malaga 62 (+2)
Christie 64 (+5)
Potter 63 (+3) - Signed from Oxford
Barton 67 (+4)
Elliott 66 (0)
Ball 64 (+1)

Loving this, won the league and now only have the JPT final to focus. Much better than previous years!

anyone other than me notice theres no C. Christie in the team :S and that connor thomas is class (put me through the capital 1 cup with a 1-0 win at Arsenal. was an absolute screamer!)...elliot has got a tasty shot on him too.

also...murphy must know i dont like him in real life... i took charge and he handed in a transfer request after the 1st league game

You must have started your career using the squad from the Arsenal game pal!

I'm just into my second season now after obliterating League One and finishing with a record point total! Cody McDonald got the golden boot with 24 goals and Joe Murphy won the Golden Gloves! Going into the season my team looks like this:
Joe Murphy 70
Jordan Clarke 69
Nathan Cameron 65
William Edjenguele 67
Chris Hussey 68
Steven Jennings 69
David Birch 74 - free agent, 74 rated 17 year old CM
Alfie Potter 64
John Fleck 74
Joel Grant 67
Cody McDonald 70

Chris Dunn 62
Cyrus Christie 65
Kevin Malaga 61
Adam Barton 68
Conor Thomas 68
Matt Lecointe 64 - Signed from Leyton Oreint
Stephen Elliott 66

Think thats a minor bug, he'll be back in after the next 'Matchday' update which is a brilliant addition by the way!

I haven't tried career mode on Fifa 13 yet but on the previous games I couldn't get into it as playing the computer is too repetitive as they always tend to go with the same tactics of trying to keep the ball at all costs (even when losing). Have they improved the CPU players on this one? For me it's all about playing online

It depends what difficulty you play on. I generally use world class or legendary and you can tell the difference this year from the difficulties. The CPU seems better, the career mode is widing me up a bit though. Last night i beat pompey 4-0, sheff utd 5-0 and carlisle 6-2 they are all in top 6 but then i drew 0-0, 1-1, 0-0 eith tranmere, walsall and crewe (bottom 3)
