I’m only a messenger!

Great support for your team and thanks for using Butlin Rd for this fixture.

If you attended the game last night v Liv U23’s your feedback would be very much appreciated on what was good, what was not so good? Keep it clean! Thanks in advance,

Thought it was great to be honest. Turnstiles in are obviously a little bit of an issue but there isn't much that can be done about that I suppose given the irregularity of the big attendances. Same with the bar queue, although given how many people were there they were pretty efficient at getting through it. Thoroughly enjoyable evening watching the football. It seemed like parking at the ground was a bit of a nightmare, but parking a 5 minute walk away I could drive out with ease.

Nice atmosphere. Spend some of the revenue on improving the playing surface. Some 'big' clubs will be reluctant to bring their players if a dodgy surface increases the risk of injury, and I'm sure the extra income you would generate from such games would make it worth it.

Gave up trying to park and just left it on the street!

Pitch was awful, far too uneven

I’m familiar with Butlin Road as I occasionally attend throughout the season and it went how I thought it was and from what I viewed occasion managed ok for current facilities

Tuesday night the grass was slightly too long for the way Mark Robins wants to play and pitch seemed dry to what most fans see at league grounds, it is a non league ground with largely a good playing surface of traditional grass top not luxury part synthetic we see in the football league. It did play better Wednesday night for the fresh trim or heavy overnight rain but was still bobbly and lacked the zip of a freshly watered sprinkler system which obviously both of which cannot be helped in current weather conditions. Every preseason I’ve known the pitch to be dry and bobbly but come late September onwards it plays well.

A fast lane for supporters with tickets may of helped when queues potentially got bigger, tho having arrived in good time I had no issue.

Loved the whole evening, great turnout and parking always going to be an issue with us a turnout. Make it a regular event for City to have a friendly there every pre season. Well done to one and all
