Here's the hair glitch Bidwell gets when taking any dead ball, poor guy looks like burns victim.

Have two Evo options for Bidwell, can't decide which to go for.

One gets his free kicks to 99 and boosts passing and shooting. The other boosts defence a bit but does add fullback ++ which would be handy

So glad EA are allowing 2 Evos active at once, make the grind way less painful!

Chose Guiu as the future star just on the off chance that mad rumour of him coming here on loan somehow comes true

Looks to me like the Grimes transfer hasn't been updated in UT, seems like most of the other Champ ones have been, am I missing something?

You're not. I packed him randomly the other day, albeit only a day or two after he had transferred to us, and was still showing as Swansea. Shouldn't have an impact on chem, but obviously it's annoying visually.

For me the game is now far too EVO focused and is just becoming less and less enjoyable as when you pack top tier cards they effectively become less effective much faster than previous years

Evos are ofcourse just another way for EA to make money too

Got to disagree! I've never spent a penny and do all the Evos? I find them the only interesting part of UT. I like having my Cov Evo team up against a sea of identical squads

The day I complete my Jack Burroughs Kilmarnock Evo, EA drop a Cov version... Feckers

Literally zero clue on how they update transfers and Loan recalls, still waiting on a Cov Grimes and for them to re enter Patterson also no Howley who also came back from loan. Doesn't seem like there is any structure to it at all?

Yeah the good one is Kilmarnock, and doesn't fit in with my Coventry squad chem wise. No massive problem but just typically annoying.

Would love to use Evos on Matt Grimes but just know the same will happen

Saw a rumour that GK stats are basically bollocks and it’s mostly to do with striker stats, which is making me think fuck it just drop Dovin in.

Gyokeres’ chem is pissing me off too, stopping a perfect 33. This is my FUT first XI right now:

It’s the first time I’ve played FIFA since 2015, so I’m not very good but I’ve made a squad with current/recent players. It made it to Div 5 and I didn’t play for a few weeks then somehow started back in Div 8!

I play Div 1 and Div 2 (don't play enough to reach elite) and I win the majority of my games even with Dovin in goal.

Just have to be clever with moving the keeper. Although, I mainly just outscore the opposition anyway.

Oh yeah, best game mode there is. Although, the games not counting bug is really putting me off.

Still happens despite trying to turn off cross-play and ensure everyone has the most updated squads. Nothing worse than wasting your evening and not even having any evidence of it!

Haji made TOTW, some decent base stats and will fit into some good Evos. Shame about the Playstyle + choice but they were always gonna do that after his 3rd goal on Saturday. I'll definitely pick him up but I just did a chained Evo on his base card so might not use him for a while

Really should have kept a track of the evos I've been doing on my Coventry City team.

Got to a point now where I've just been putting evos on whoever whenever available.

Bobby Thomas has 94 penalties and 99 short passing, and Jake Bidwell has incisive pass plus!

Proper crowbarring any that fit during Fut Birthday. Even restarted a few because better options came up. Hoping for a better option for Grimes. Put him in the general Evo and it's a bit random.

Need the Evo stat limits to hurry up and catch up with the power curve. Running out of 88-89 players and quite a few of my 90+ squad don't really cut it against the mad level of player available currently

Looks like a decent Evo brewing. Become Immortal. Level I fits 3 Cov players. Should be further levels. Possibly 95 rated with 3 Playstyle+

I'll go for Grimes I reckon

Yeah, I opted for Grimes too, mainly as I do not have an evo of him yet.

Stopped playing for a few weeks, so going to try and get the team going again, although, I think I will be a bit behind now!

Yeah I've dipped out a bit. I have managed to get an entire Cov squad 91+ bar the keeper. Luckily I have a load of credit left to knock off any Evos that improves my squad and not have to grind or I reckon I'd have packed it in

Its something Im planning on doing next year, not sure whether to do P+P or just current squad, because there’s the obvious Gyokeres, Joe Cole, Keane, Maddison but I think it’d be interesting to just evolve the squad

I like the challenge of taking a basically silver squad and maxing them out. Had a few nice comments after matches about my team and Cov in general. I favourite moments are when I've matched a player that has done similar with their team. Just feels way better than when you match some boob who's watched a YouTube video on how to build a cookie cutter meta squad. They are usually crap too.

Something so satisfying about beating someone with a meta squad using my evo'd off his nut Ben Sheaf!

So far I’ve got a EMC (87), Kitching (87), Burroughs (90), Rudoni (84) , BTA (90 LB) but I havent found much time to hop on and evolve too much and a lot of them have just timed out as I was on route to having a Kai Yearn with stats of an 88 but 75 rated

Apparently the reason they dont do keeper Evo's is because its too difficult for them to program reliably.

The keepers are that unpredictable that they can't regulate putting an evo on a random keeper and it becoming completely broken
