Anything from the psychedelic era (late 60's - early 70's), Tangerine Dream, Brian Eno, Roger Fripp, King Crimson, the God who is Bob Dylan, Lennon, Frank Zappa, Pink Floyd, Queen. The list is really endless. Can't stand 80's and 90's crap. And don't get me started on what's around today!

Not psychedelic. They were a rock band. They only had one half-decent thing - Silver Machine. In fact, wasn't that all they did?
Space fantasy rock using synthesisers and a unique audio generator which when directed at the audience would make individuals pass out. Had a resident poet and naked dancers. Done over 25 albums. Tangerine dream and gong are sort of comparable.
