I've followed most of this season on iFollow as I live abroad but was there for two of the many great moments this season: Kastaneer's fantastic goal (especially in light of what followed...) early in the campaign v Bristol Rovers and (one of my favourite City goals of all time) Godden's hat-trick goal at Wycombe which topped off a brilliant day out.

Just wondering if anyone has a stand-out moment from a stand-out season?

Enjoy the celebrations - absolutely loved following everything today.

The key point in the season was the Wycombe game, but I have two favourite moments - Walsh's solo goal was truly magnificent, and Godden's drilled 20 yard goal from that clever flick by Shipley.

I think one of the late winners we got early on, possibly Rochdale at home? Walsh scored to win the game 2-1. I had a really good feeling about us this season from there on, such character.

For me the Fleetwood home game when we changed the system sticks in my mind. If I'm not mistaken we'd lost 2 and drawn a couple leading into that game and were 1-0 down at half time. Robins changed to 3 at the back and we never looked back.

No, somebody laid the ball off to him and he slid it in left footed

Probably Rose's equaliser against Portsmouth. It was the first game I paid to stream on ifollow and there was no picture for most of the first half. I was raging and by the time we'd capitulated at 3-1 down and Dabo had been sent off I'd shut the laptop down and nearly launched it out the window. Someone text me saying the picture had come back on Ifollow but no idea why I still bothered to log in as I thought by that stage we would probably ship 4 or 5.

No idea what game it was but it was that feeling of actually expecting and anticipating us to score early and we did. I don’t think I’ve ever had that feeling watching us before.

Max. Away at Peterboro.

Return to full fitness after a serious injury. World class strike and fantastic scenes in the away end.

You could tell how much that goal meant to Max and to all of us.

And a brilliant write up of that goal in The Lonely Season blog a couple of days later.

Following the City is very special in times like these; best of luck to those who support the big teams and like the supposed glory.......but they will never ever understand what it means to be watching your home town club playing at Peterboro in the 3rd division - and Max scoring a stunner.

I wouldn't swap it for anything.

As I told one of our players post match at Birmingham this season - thanks, a genuine thanks for making us so proud this season.

Highlight of the season...Sunderland fans on their forum tonight saying we deserved it.

Fair play to them.

yes I know what you mean- I think looking back the first time I genuinely thought we were going up was when we beat Bolton at home late on- Biamou scored and you just got the sense they had the kind of mental strength we haven’t seen in a long time, nothing phased them. Which I guess ultimately is a reflection of the manger.

For me one of the memorable points of the season was when we played Sunderland and the fans started to sing to Jordan Willis it could have been you. Tbf to Willis he had a good laugh about it bet he’s thinking that now.

I agree, We found a way to score goals late on to rescue situations or win games. Baka's late strike at home vs. Donny was one of those moments, what a strike that was. What a celebration. In the final month of the season we also found ways to win games whilst not being at our very best - a sign of a very good team.

Christmas week 2 away matches two for Godden. Left Tranmere thinking this is the best team we’ve had in about a decade. They believed, I believed.

The Blackpool game, 2-0 down comeback to win 3-2. I thought at least top 6 after that game and it just got better

Evening all. Fantastic day and season.

For me it’s got to be Wycombe away, that first away win of the season and the style of a great win completed with a fantastic bit of play and finish from Matty Godden.

Injection of belief it installed in everyone was huge.
We stepped up another gear after that win

Local media changing their tune about the indemnity clause and putting at least some blame on other parties than Sisu for us playing outside Coventry was fun

Walsh solo effort and Rochdale away when Rose scored after about 5 mins was brilliant

Looking back that was huge for our confidence. Other 2-1 wins, arguably when we didn't deserve three points, against Fleetwood and Bolton stick out in my mind too. I think the Biamou goal against Bolton was the most I celebrated all season.

Probably Portsmouth 3-3 game when Kastaneer came on. I had been telling my friend just how excited I am buy him as a signing and that he'll be pivotal to our season, probably prove too good for our league, some bullshit like that.

Immediately gets sent off and thre rest is history!

Portsmouth Away. It had everything.

- Early goal for us.
- Fucking it up and going 3 - 1 down.
- Dabo getting sent off.
- Getting the penalty, Godden converting and giving us a glimmer of hope.
- The hope being taken almost immediately away by Kastaneer sliding 3/4 the length of the pitch to take someone out.
- McCallum launching a throw into the box and Rose tucking it away.

Unbelievable game.

Love it... see the ball boys behind the goal going mental at the end...

My favourite moment... equaliser against Rotheram... drove up from Milton Keynes only got there at half time, listening to the first half on the radio on the way it sounded depressing, we were playing badly and Rotheram were doing well, a couple of seasons ago I would've turned round and gone back home, but no... press on... it's the new city way... a few minutes into the second half (can't remember how many) equaliser...

Jamie Allen finishing off the move of the decade vs Bristol Rovers. The best team goal I’ve ever seen us score.

Rose’s equaliser at Pompey.

On a side note, after the OP mentioned he lives abroad and only got to 2 games, I’m the same! I wasn’t quite as lucky as him though, with my 2 games being MK Dons away and Shrewsbury away! Title winning season and I see us draw and lose... I blame my dad (never seen us win an away match when I’ve been with him)!
