I'm a bit surprised no-one's mentioned Ernie's donkey-kick goal v Everton. Bit early for most of you

Lee Dixon's 30 yard own goal at Highbury in 1991/1992. So very funny - I'd flown back from Taipei early to be there, it helped with the jetlag.
Darren Huckerby's chip over the keeper at the Dell in 1997/1998. Sky used that for the Covee Break spot on Soccer am for several years. What a break, what a finish.

Can’t find it but there was a Gallagher goal where he chipped the keeper from the corner of the box IIRC that I spent weeks trying to emulate. Maybe against Forest but not sure.

Kevin Gallagher, Cyril Regis, David Borrows, Brian Burrows, Hadji Wright, Mark Robbins. I get irrationally wound up by these.

any of the Ndlovu wonder goals in the 90's or Moldovan vs Villa. More recently Paterson's winner last season and Hadji vs Wolves absolute limbs!

Fav non Cov goal? haven't got one!

Ndlovu v Norwich, with the little shimmy, and his goal cutting in from the right and smashing it top corner v Wimbledon, my two favourites.

Games I have attended my top 2 are Wright vs Wolves and Kane's winner against Germany at Wembley in Euro 2020

Fair. I noticed after I posted. In my defence I was 9 and couldn’t spell when he played

Seen many great goals over the years from the Houchen header to a good few Max overheads. I think my favourite ones are the goals that weren't spectacular but that really meant something....

I think my favourite ever period was the end of the 84/85 season when we looked doomed to relegation unless we won our last three of the season, with the final one being against champions, Everton.

So, for me there's two: Cyrille's second goal against Everton on that Sunday in the sunshine. Killer's goal against Luton, which from what I remember was on a Thursday night, although I might have made that up:

I was in that melee at the West End that night. Football was so much more innocent back then too. Great times despite always flirting with the Dreaded Drop.

So many great goals - one I remember pretty well that would have been a very memorable goal for all would have been Torps goal in the Man U semifinal

Dark horse for me would be McFadz against Notts Forest - first game back at the CBS after Covid if I remember correctly?

Was 1-1 and he scored the winner in the 90+5, started the run where we were scoring last min goals every week

Edit: I just watched the highlights back. I forgot how good Sheaf was at his best...

So many great goals as already mentioned but my favourite was Peter Bodak’s chip in the FA Cup 3rd round at Maine Road in 1982.

We were just hanging on to a 2-1 lead when Ian Butterworth passed to him and he ran nearly half the length of the pitch and chipped Joe Corrigan to seal the win. Cue pandemonium in the away section of the Kippax.

One of the best Cov goals I've seen in person. Wasn't it his debut?

Notable mentions that come to mind Biamou vs Yeovil (horrible game), Tavares vs Preston and Mifsud vs Man Utd

Torp vs Man Utd - the most exhilarating 30 seconds I've ever had at a match.

Roberto Carlos with that mega bendy free-kick or Van Bastens volley.

Some here for us older sky blue supporters.
Ernie Hunt goal with the Donkey flick v Everton.
Ernie Hunt goal with his chip from the centre circle over Tony Waiters to score against Burnley towards the Spion Top. I still remember the pained look on Waiters face as he back peddled in a vain attempt to keep it out.
Larry Lloyd from half way line with a block buster shot past Keeley for Norwich
Houchen at Wembley!
Huckerby v Man United
Robbie Keane first goal for us v Derby.

The Gynn equalizer in the FA Cup semi in 87 at Hillsborough.
The euphoria on that massive terrace was unlike anything I've experienced before or since.
67th minute I think. It was the build up of tension, the thought of the dream slipping away and then the relief!!!!
Magical.

Ah yes. I don't think I've ever felt as ill/nervous at a football match. What didn't help was being on that massive terrace, so I had a sense of falling forward coupled with vertigo! Turned out well and will never forget that feeling of sheer relief what Gynn scored.

Can't remember who we played in League 1 in front of a half empty CBS but Bakayoko tackled a defender from an awkward angle and it ended up ricocheting in

the official FA one with Jonathan Pearce is as good if not better. He just loses it, screams 'Haji WRIGHT!'. Have a watch if you've not seen it.

Torps goal against Manure at Wembley, this will go down as the best goal scored and the powers above disallowed. Cheating fucks. When I bumped into Gary Neville and asked him , he said we ( manure) got away with that one . The fucking prick

Tony Dobson v Banik Ostrava.

I’d love to see this goal again just to see if it is how I remember it or whether mentally I’ve made it a much better goal in my head that it actually was.

Personal one, wasn't even the best he scored for us but Biamou bicycle kick Vs Cheltenham when we pumped them 1-6. I had snuck in the home end, had kept it fairly incognito but when he pulled that off me and about 50 odd Cov lads dotted around celebrated.
