Sometime around the mid 70s and early season 1-0 win at HR against Liverpool. Ferocious volley from the edge of the area. Unbelievable Tommy Hutchison strike from a Colin Stein headed backwards assist.

Don't think anyone's mentioned Gynn's equaliser in the 1987 semi? Not a stylish goal, but the explosion of sound in that end must have registered on seismographs all over the planet.

I’m throwing in Adebola’s storming run from the half way line where he seemed to literally bounce off players before slotting it home away at Blackburn.

Holdsworth’s only goal (I think) against Cardiff in the cup was a peach as well!

Come to think of it Bjjarni Gudjohnsen’s header against either Millwall or Preston during Eric Black’s tenure.

And of course Whing’s final goal at HR!

Recency bias makes it Haji v Wolves for me. That and the fact I'm looking at this on the wall as I type it

Other goal Zidane v Leverkusen. First CL final I remember watching, blew my mind and made me call my dad into the room when he scored it

Loved Shipley’s goal at Wembley.

Took a deflection and slowly looped in. Fans went mental.

Us, I can't see past Houchen's header. Sorry, boring choice, but there it is.

Other team; there are loads, but this one is up there:

ETA: FIFA are obviously amoral, money grubbing cunts willing to spread 'em for every autocrat they meet, and it seems the tight twats won't allow videos to be viewed on websites, either. So goal now in low-def.

Assuming “favourite” is different to “best”…

I cant choose between 2…

1. George Thomas at Wembley - first time there, didn’t think I’d ever see us lift a trophy at Wembley.

2. Biamou vs Notts County to go 3-1 up. - I think Notts had just had an equaliser ruled out. All felt very precarious and then that went in and it was just the best party in the stands from then on.

Non-Cov would be Aguero v QPR just for the pure drama. Never see anything like that again.

The subtitles for that goal when they come up on Spotify at the beginning of the That Cov Pod podcast makes me laugh - 'The Tongan Simms' & 'You'd better believe it - Coventry are going to Hemblin'

Huckerby v Man U and watching Ferguson chomping furiously on his chewing gum walking towards the tunnel at the end.
Carlos Alberto, Brazil v Italy 70 World Cup final. perfect build up and perfect finish .
