Unpopular opinion, but I still don't get the Hamer obsession. We've had some very overhyped/overrated players before but I think Hamer is up there with the most overhyped player of recent years.

How can you not get Hamer?! According to some on here he’s already one of the best players in the league and worth £10M+Kelly.

What you mean is, his marking and position play is poor so he has to make a foul to make up for it, making it look like hes "fighting for the cause" when in reality, a bit more about him and he makes considerably less fouls a season. His range of passing is alright, but hes not doing it consistently week in week out. He can shoot? Hes a fucking midfielder, thats 50% of his fucking job.Yeah I mean he only works hard, is really competitive, can get stuck in, good range of passing and vision, can shoot, is still young and has demonstrated all of this after moving to a new country only a few months ago. One thing I can say for hype is that Chaplin was another overly hyped player that fans thought he was the next Messi, and because of said hype we made a profit on him, so in that vein, Hamer is worth £30m and should be playing in the Premier league with numerous adds.

Much worse than that. It was a sitter. He had time. No defenders. Not even the Goalkeeper. A completely open goal!He hit the post when he really should have scored. Not worth the money we paid for him.
