i used to love some of the old skool chants. what is your fave?

Mine is maybe chippo, hadji, hadji, chippo, hadji and a thommo! or mohamed ohohhhh as i hav neva seen a player so chuffed to hear his name sung

my faves from years ago when i first went to HR
were the "lily the pink" song and "in our coventry homes"
and later the team of Gary Breans chant
the chant for Greg Downs was top notch
but the best was the "Mohamed ohohhhh"
but for the life of me i can't remember the words except for the first two i mentioned
might be because from 84 onwards the Vauxhall,the Hastings,or the old ball were
the after match entertainment and mum didn't worry so much

In the 70's we used to sing
"He's here he's there he's every F!@#$%G where Ernie Hunt"
The club asked the fans not to swear for a televised game. Being the good law abiding fans that we were the chant became:
"He's here he's there we're not allowed to swear Ernie Hunt"

What were the words to the Dennis Wise song again ?

My personal favourite was hearing more or less the whole of Highfield Road standing up en-masse chanting "Sign him up, sign him up, sign him up" after Lee Mills debut on loan. If ever I start thinking City fans are starting to talk sense I think back to that night and remember how clueless they are.
