What really drives me crazy with the likes of Eastwood and Thornton is that they don't realise that football is a relatively short career say 10/15 years of high potential earnings compared to the average Joe.

Wouldn't you think that they would maximise this god given opportunity by at least keeping fit, competitive and eager to earn their £500,000 grand per year (in Eastwood's case) and extend that ethic until age or form genuinely diminishes that potential.

I can't even bear thinking about Tevez and his £10,000,000 obscenity of a wage and his current attitude to the game !!!
