I can’t think of a time where this has actually helped us in the past. But it’s not ideal prep for Blackburn is it, Southampton away and then back up for Cov Friday night.

Ideal would be a hard fought Blackburn win.

Would all but make Blackburn safe and less in need of a result on Friday and would keep Southampton still needing results when they meet Ipswich later down the line. I don't want them comfortable in a playoff spot and taking their foot off.

Few red cards and knocks would be nice too

Quiet you. We want as many wins as we can, as quickly as possible. Get the title soon up as early as mathematically possible some can get the jump on whoever else comes up with us on transfers.
