Absolutely agree Evo, vocal support of fans was amazing. The highlight though was Pete putting out the cones to the Oles'.
Having watched video I notice there is a young ginger haired lad close to your right hand side, if you know it may be a good idea if you educate him that use of the term 'spas' as an insult is no longer acceptable in society. He and a few others from same section used that as an insult against one of our fans, whatever the provocation or events that is appalling.
I would hope that is the last time I hear our supporters chant that and we concentrate on supporting the team or encouraging Pete with the cones & balls!

Wonderwall was genuinely funny. Especially the reprise after the goal.

Just watched this on my iPhone with headphones as I'm a train-wanker today, and genuinely got goosebumps when the Sky Blue Song kicked in when the players walked over.

Considering what this football club puts us through, the core support that follow this club everywhere could rival any in terms of noise.

Away from home there is a genuine support for the players and the manager, unlike at home games. The team were poor yesterday, but they got treated as heroes, something that can only be influential for the players.

How can you determine the team were poor
Peterborough were only a real danger for 20 mins after half time

I can't bring myself to chant 'We are staying up' in the third tier of football as if it's something to celebrate. I refuse to accept that's our lot as City supporters and further proves just how badly managed we've been by both Sisu and Pressley.

60% win ratio under mowbray if we sacked pressley sooner we would have been challenging for the top 6

Totally agree, its very cringeworthy.

I guess its just relief after a shitty season. And the lads enjoying ths day out.

The alarm bells do ring loud and clear CCFC are fighting to stay in division 3.

I'm wondering if it might be time to revert to "Proud Posh or Cobblers, Oysters or anyone".

Thought the same, had an excellent day out. I wasn't going to bother coming up for the Orient game, but might well do now.

Why we're the Stewards so picky over the standing up yesterday
Did everyone behave
Just saw an Ejection after the goal on Youtube

Stewards were only picky over those who chose to stand in the lower block, blocking those who preferred to/ have to sit.

Ah right TBF most seemed to prefer to sit yesterday which when you've paid £26 for the privilege Isn't a bad Idea and fairer for the kids who struggle to get a view

Agree. Hopefully it was just a one off. Sad really that people think it's appropriate.

Unbelievable support, just shows that no matter how much shit the club puts us fans through nothing will take away the passion we have for our Sky Blues. PUSB!

Listening on the radio yesterday you would have thought that we were the home fans. Especially in the second half. Well done everyone present yesterday.

I was in those seats there is no way a grown man could sit in them the legroom was for midgets or perhaps their former family area.
You had to sit sideways taking up 2 seats to sit down.
Luckily I was on the back row of that block so sat on the back of the seat.

Yep almost like they were designed to tip you from the seat and Inadequate l legroom
There were some ancient wooden ones towards the centre too
Great afternoon though
Ruined only by a flat battery due to leaving the lights on for 3 hrs and the wait for Green Flag
Home by 8.30 Instead of 6.30-7.00

Why did you need your lights on?
We got home about 7.00 went to the pub and waited for the traffic to die down

Yep - Oysters were the nickname of Colchester Town, later to become Colchester United.

I felt the players responded well too,how long is it since we hand them on mass come and see the fans? ( the cynic in me says it was cos we were near the tunnel). I have felt for a while that they have not been taught the value of the 12th man.

Me too! Got told to sit and then I told steward that my legs didn't fit in between the seats and he said to carry on standing!
