Well sixfields will have plenty of soles....arseholes!!

Why not go to Frankie & Bennys.,...there is one opposite the stadium..or a KFC..it's all there at Northampton.!!

Sorry the Ricoh was not good enough for you..... Have a pie..lets hope it's Humble when you wake up!!

I wasn't expecting the soles insult, probably because it doesn't quite work. But I wish I'd put some money on the humble pie one. I served that one up on a plate for you.... ooh another pun. Fancy making a double act, I'll even give you top billing.

As I posted. The facilities at the Ricoh are second to only a few. Unfortunately the match day experience is sadly lacking.

I'd politely suggest both 'sides' are so busy trying to score cheap points off each other, the very thought of organising a joined up protest has gone over everybody's heads and the chance has been lost.

You're teasing me now. I would love to see us play in front of a full crowd every week. But we have to be realistic about this. Forget Sixfields, Ricoh, Highfield Road. Wouldnt you like us to have a stadium which perfectly fits our fan base, which is 70% full for most games? Personally I'd love it.

Disclaimer - any similarities between this idea and those of an allegedly corrupt hedge fund are purely coincidental and do not reflect the views of said company.

I'm off down the M1 now. See you later. PUSB

Id rather us have a ground suitable for our potential fan base rather than a short termist view of building a ground suited to our fanbase at the lowest point in our history.

Clearly they do not care enough about coventry city! If they want to help coventry city get killed off then its up to them, but don't expect sympathy or empathy for your decision, as the mere fact you come on here justifying yourselves just shows you know it's wrong!

Coventry Cobblers Vs Man U would be a 7000 sell out thanks to Northampton supporters.
Coventry City Vs Man U would be a 32,000 sell out thanks to Coventry Supporters.

All they needed to do to fix the atmosphere at the Ricoh was stick us all in one place. I know this suggestion upsets the couple of people that insist they sit behind the goal but the atmosphere at the JPT quarter final (the one before Crewe) was awesome.

My point is coming onto a message board to say what you're doing in no way says you 'know it's wrong'.

Unless all those coming on to say they're not going 'know it's wrong' too.

It's a simple point, aimed again at getting people to reflect again on the damage they do by polarising, when as a result they've wilfully overlooked an opportunity to unite.

Ah well, I'm off for the afternoon, as the dick waving and childish posturing is just too depressing.

sorry, but we're you not on this forum the other day preaching about how you were going to sixfields, and then when someone challenged you, you challenged them to change your mind. Have a word with yourself

You said it helps the ratepayers - it doesn't actually contribute to their personal income in anyway does it. Has the average lifestyle improved since being built? Has the view of coventry changed to outsiders since opening?Jobs on a permenantly bases are few and also I doubt many live in this city.

Very well thought out statement, so all the staff employed to work on matchdays, stewards, catering staff, hospitality staff, police, ticket office, local pubs, shops, and bars, local pop up car parks, casino staff, local hotels, local transport companies, none of these benefitted from personal income thanks to the Ricoh on matchdays?
You really are a plank!!!

Grendel I assume you have heard the term using the words pot kettle? I'd say fans like you are a disgrace, but that would be disingenuous. As you have never for one second pretended you are a fan, but some bizarre troll who thinks they are clever attacking everyone and everything!

I assume you must be loving the fact that today the club is holding a wake and that an unscrupulous unethical hedge fund has hijacked what for many was a harmless enjoyment during the cold winter months (although the word enjoyment is tbf a bit of a stretch after the poor efforts shown far too often). I have no doubt that for some it was a difficult decision, but that in no way means that by going to sixfields today you are supporting the team! By going you are supporting sisu plain and simple!

That is correct...I initially wasn't sure ...and I took a look at this forum to gauge the feeling last Friday.

I said I was a floating voter..I was convinced by the arguments on here that visiting Sixfields was a bad idea.
I was only ever going to go to take my son in any case...I discussed it with him and he agreed..no travelling to Sixfields for us.

So as you can see I did have a word with myself...(well my son actually)...I think we made the best choice..The only reason I got so shouty about it was because there were tones of violence being threatened about supporters visiting Sixfields.
A bit of banter with Terryhallsboots is not so bad ..is it?

Was with you until this bit. Are people attending the Ricoh today supporting ACL & CCC, plain and simply?
Any soul left in this club remains within the team, that's why it needs our support.

There is no argument. Everyone should avoid Northampton and the Ricoh. ACL should be boycotted in equal measure. I have cancelled 2 meetings planned there and moved to a different, more expensive venue. I have encouraged a couple of people not to attend concerts there and I will give them nothing. NOPM should apply to both as both are to blame.

Grendel has meetings at the Ricoh. Did everyone catch that? Because he would like us all to know how important he sounds.

Shame it's in Northampton of course.

More suited? So you think the move to Northampton is actually a positive, don't you? Good luck with that.

You think that the people who applaud & back this move are going to protest?

You are totally missing the point of the match at The Ricoh today! It's not a pro-ACL/CCC event. If it was, would you have all the ex-players backing it?

Keep telling people this. This not a pro ACL stance today, it is a statement that Coventry City belong in Coventry and a plea for the club to come home.
