You could sense it all game last night, the frustration of last season is starting to creep in again, the sense of no plan B, and when we concede, the feeling of hopelessness of getting something out of the game. Have we even got result this season after going 1-0 down?

Players being booed, Biamou looking like he should be the last option and not the first.

This guys frustration has summed up the last 3 games.

Is it time to have a meltdown? Certainty not, but when rot sets in, we all know what happens, we're Cov fans, we're now accustomed to shit.

People will be frustrated when they seem to be watching different games to the manager.

Why is that? The manager thinks we can score goals, our attack proves it can't consistently, most fans have agreed since August that we've fucked up not getting in a decent striker. The frustration is going to grow as this season gets long, and with Robins saying no money left to strengthen, where does that leave our season?

Why are people seeing things differently to him or why are they frustrated by it?

What different things are they seeing? What things are you seeing for that matter, 3/4 of the crowd last night showed the frustrations, was you there?

Yes I was there.

Most of the people by me didn't seem to agree much with Robins.

Yes, we have got a result when going 1-0 down also.

He invested in Mcnukty he felt McNulty would get 20 goals.
He can't do anything about this mistake until January.
He can't come out abd say McNulty isn't the striker I thought he would be. As that potentially destroys McNulty. He will know what he has to do however for now he hasn't got the same freedom of speech that we have. He has to think about how what he says psychologically affects his players.
Hopefully Ponti may get a start. It would be nice to see if he can do it or not.

No plan B, a team who wants to go up should have one, it's that simple.

That's what I mean, fans could see from even before they scored something needed to be changed. As soon as we went 1-0 down and still had 2 defensive midfielders people were pissed off. Calling for a substitution much earlier, people were shocked it was the same at half time.

That's what I was trying to say with frustration in seemingly seeing a different game to Robins.

Agree with most things you have said.

Vs Swindon 1 nil down, won 2-1. And Walsall in the cup.
We have actually drawn level on a number of occasions after going down. Albeit gone on and lost. Vs Shrewsbury 0-2 to 2-2, blackburn, and at cambridge got level.

But yes frustration is not the word. Beyond that.

Wanted to wake up this morning hoping last night was a bad nightmare.

Fans were so shell shocked i didnt hear a single SISU out!

It's never going to be rosy as long as we are in League 2, but I was expecting that we'll lose some awful games to some worse teams so I'm not going to panic while we're still well in reach of the top. We had a little shit run in August and then went on a good run, so hopefully this is another like that.

exactly. The team are performing about on budget at the moment, which is unusual, as we are normally underachieving. With a good run we will be up there. We have to trust in MR to get it right and the players (who are by and large on 2 year deals) are here to stay so need to support them

Theres no doubt in my opinion we have a top 5 budget. No where near the top 2.

At the moment last few games, Barnet, accrington and fgr.....1 point.

Dropping to 8th place havnt scored a goal since Early in Crewe game. Almost 4 whole shitty league 2 games...massive underperformmace.

351* mins without a league goal now

309* mins was the last drought.

Not good enough when you look at the opposition in them games and how many there defences have leaked
*excluding injury time

have another cup run in the shit cup again will help some fans forget how bad things have got. I was hoping Robins was our man. but he has to wait til Jan to find a real goalscorer. too negative in midfield is to our cost. Jones is our one trick pony and most teams now know it. looks like we are adjusting to become just another 4th div team. hope I'm wrong. Shit cup will help and at least we r safe in this league this year due to our tight defence, except a few dodgy keepers.

Yup, exactly almost 4 whole games without scoring a goal.

But am i not right in thinking that was only second goal conceded at home. Both from howlers.

Correct, both goals gifts and near identical spot where the ball was struck.

Take away the opening day freak show we've only scored 6 goals in 6 league games, to state the obvious we averaged 1 goal per game since playing some sides on abysmal run of form.

Strange that you aren't bleating out the 'time to gel' excuse for Robins and Mcnulty.

When you think about it.

We ckearly have problems with.

Goalkeeper
Full backs....
Midfield
Wingers...lack of..natural width.
1 Striker short.

Pretty muchbeverywhere but Central defence where even the bench looks strong ..anfd hyam isnt even on the bench.

Ckear where we need to strengthen.

Do we think that this is the start of more protests? Just seems to be that SISU is forgotten whilst we play well then comes back when we go through a poor run?

And the Crewe goal needed a massive fluke off the corner flag.

from what I've seen of McNulty he is a goalmouth, six yard tapper. He needs ball in the box. we haven't been delivering those balls in for him. so he is not getting the right service. or he could just be past his best. still holding judgement back for a few more games yet.

Just don't get too frustrated could end up with a life ban.
The club don't seem to care anymore.

Since that goal the person to come closest to scoring has been Stokes hit crossbar/post. Says it all.

Robins can hardly come out and say what most of us are saying that our strike force is powder puff, somehow he has to motivate and get them scoring, good luck on that one

was it wasps or was it the ricoh ?, surely they are two separate things, one owns the other

do you agree that there was no need for ccfc to announce what the stance the ricoh had taken?, it was always going to be read the wrong way by some
