I like AT but I am really struggling to understand a fooking thing that he is saying. He doesn't finish sentences, he mumbles, he changes tack mid stream its like he loses his thread all the time.
Shaw sounds very good though.

My thoughts exactly - Thorn struggles with the basic questions.

So far.....

We are looking at a new unnamed striker.

Sisu will still sell players but as long as AT is forewarned and can replace that is ok.

Current first 16 are going nowhere before season starts. But squad players are going to go before season starts.

Every game the plan will be to win with this squad.

Goals expected from cody 20 plus.

Expect teams to defend against them

Tactics will be changed.

Everyone back for corners last season was due to lack of height in squad.

Alex Nimely has a premiership move lined up.

Bell out for 2 months

He's choosing his words wisely. He won't win any eloquence awards, but what he's said has been right on the money. I think that's a lot more important than being pretentious. Footballers don't want an Oxbridge graduate lecturing them, they want a football man.

Shaw will be a great asset, along with Wood and Jennings, in knowing what this division is all about.

"Nimely to Premiership" might shut up a few people who dissed him! Poor lad was kicked to bits after his first few games for us.

Now has a squad and so can now deal with complacency. Unlike last season.
No-one is an automatic pick. If you don't meet the standard you will be dropped.

Nimely was a bit too good for us, maybe that was the problem. His ball control and movement was immense, that was shown across the team and at times they couldn't keep up.

Shocked at Nimely moving to another prem team while I liked his endeavour and running with the ball I didnt think he was ready for that level yet.

I noticed there was a bit more incite to last season due to not having players competing for places.
That seems to be addressed this season.

Probably because Man City are keeping it quiet...its probably not completed yet so they'll wait till the inks dried before announcing it.

Didn't say before season starts said before window closes.

I was in the room and understood every word. AT clearly thinks there were individuals who were negative last season those people have gone so we could speculate who they are but what's the point. Interesting that RS thinks the tricky fixture of the first three will be Bury at home. That is the one that will test the metal of the players and give us an idea if we can be challengers or or also rans's.

I'm not sure he has another striker lined up, he mentioned another player and then the next question was if it was Polkadot which he immediately answered no, as if it just caught him out and he reacted.

I don't know exactly where Thorn's been but he's got a hell of a tan. Joe Elliott had his legs out too, bizarrely. There is a point when you're too old for shorts.

So Nimely not good enough for us
Nimely good enough for unnamed premier club

Therefore Coventry > Unnamed premiership club

All our problems are solved

Yes mate, you are right. That is what I meant. The deadline. Not sure why I said before season starts.

Lots of people know f*** all about football. You only have to listen to the supporters around you at games. Many people are thick as sh1t.

Nimely in 14 matches won three penalties, had two players sent off for fouls on him. Scored a goal. Set up 4. Then played for us whilst injured.
He did all that for a team in the bottom three of the championship.
Personally think it was quite clear what potential he had.
Glad the question was asked now so the whole nimely thing can be put to bed. He isn't coming, in all honesty. He would be wasted in div 3.

Did you deliberately miss out his stats at Middlesbrough or was it coincidence?

I personally never watched him play for Middlesbrough. Did you. Prefer to stick with what I saw.
So no did not deliberately leave it out, just can't really comment on it.
