good to hear that. they shouldn't. We have very good academy and are in league two. the step up isn't like it is in the championship or the prem

He believes we are good enough for promotion, players are human beings so not all will do it all season.

We need to maximise their potential, that's his job to get the best out of them.

Ups and downs are part of it, example is Jones who has had a rise and has a knock back so will have to deal with it as it's part of life.

Kelly has had a heel injury for a while, he has trained and played but found it too painful to play the other night.

Need to monitor it and he will come back when he can, hopefully he will be ok but need to see.

He was going to come off against Luton but didn't.

Robins told Nazon he needs to sign for the season else he loses 2 weeks wages because of his suspension, he agreed but dont quote Robins on that.

Fine is suspended, if he goes back to Wolves he gets fined a week, if he goes somewhere else it's 2 weeks.

Does Robins ever lose it?

Oggy says he has his moments, but generally very good and analytic. Oggy says we do better in the second half as it's an opportunity for Robins and the staff to get together and tweak a few things.

Robins says Oggy is driving and wanted to go.

In regards to family zone, DKE loves being in the family zone. A lot of players do work that go un-noticed.

A small group will be going to hospitals with present for the kids, everybody used to go but they cant now due to illness risks etc so hospitals dont allow it. One day a month where everybody goes out into the community.

Players enjoy meeting the fans, Robins thinks it important for the players as well. Fans are lifeblood of the club, good to build a rapport with the fans as it makes it easier when out on the pitch.

Fans have an impact massively, when they play well it is positive and when it is negative they have to deal with that. They want the support there.

He says supporting the team during the game is great, he doesn't hear much during the game. Just after the game he hears boos which is absolutely fine and players need to deal with that if they haven't performed.

Bloke comes across as a bit aggressive in saying "Why dont you come up to Singers Corner and see your fans"?

Asked who is the joker.

He says McNulty and Davies are quite funny, he says he would rather McNulty scores than be funny.

All players funny in their own way, make him laugh, make him angry, make him miserable, make him happy.

They all come in and work hard and take things on board.

Talking about his time at Rotherham, when he took over he had to scout and sign players on his own. Had to try and move players on who were under contract.

Were 2nd, then 5th and went into admin so went down the league.

Due to play Morecombe, PFA went in to see the players and told them everything that were going to go wrong and had to sign a waiver about pay. One player told not to sign it so was sold on.

Ended up losing stadium and training ground.

So this is easy - Robin's says.

Checkatrade was good as we were able to get time into players like DKE, Stevenson etc.

Shrewsbury was a great test and performance, Andreu scored his first goal and was a loss.

Biamou is a really honest player, at 26/27 he came into the game late. Came over from France to Sutton for a bit and has just gone full time and the intensity changes so he is still adjusting.

Really unfortunate the goal he scored was disallowed, he was being strong with the centre half and a great finish.

Players just need to be free and go out and do what they can do, all comes down to decision making.

Biamou and Duck have a link as they speak French, everybody learning it to know what they are saying out of paranoia.

A guy on about McDonald and said how he watched him at Luton, then says how he went off at Luton and got his head bandaged up.

Robins jokes to keep quiet about the defence, they aren't bad.

Not looking at free agents at the minute, but recruitment team are still working.

They have had meetings and are planning for January already, but dont rule anything out as things change.

Kwame Thomas needs to play, he can't be guaranteed football here so he needs to go out and play mens football. Gone to Solihull to try and get him playing mens football instead of U23.

Asked about what we do to try and score from set pieces.

He tries to teach them delivery, movement, making space, attacking the ball, who goes where, whats the process.

It's not something that works on the xbox, it's something that's improving.

It cut out a little bit, he said Evans said he went to watch a game we played and said he heard loads of anti sisu chants. Robins said he didnt hear anything like that and Evans was trying to stir it up to try and get an advantage.

Somebody might be able to correct the full thing.

Asked what are his strengths (Robins)

He says he tries to give the players the right information for the job, players would say he is firm but fair. He tries to do right by the players as much as possible. It's about giving the players the freedom to do what they can, he does get frustrated when they dont.

Man Management is something he says he is OK at, he still feels like he is learning all the time.

Who does he think will go up with us?

He says Luton and mumbles Mansfield. Mansfield were the best team at the Ricoh but still didn't deserve the win, we didnt get the rub of the green and they had 1 shot.

Big change in the legends area at the Ricoh when Robins came back., whats the status of the Ricoh?

He says people are working hard, talks are going on and good people are working on it.

He says he was promised the tools for what he wants to do, wasn't expecting millions but has a healthy amount.

Everybody working towards making us a stronger club from top to bottom, things are moving in the right direction. Big changes since has been in.

I second that and thought he came across very well.
I don’t always agree with his tactics or team selection but I definitely wouldn’t get rid of him and I hope we keep him for the long term and see what he can really do.

Agree not too sure about the question asking him why he doesn't join the fans in singers corner, that was all very odd as the guy seemed pretty genuine and it left MR a bit confused.

But from what I heard when periscope was working was a positive meeting!

Seems like the deal to stay at the Ricoh is near.
