Out of interest, what for?

Not overwhelmed by her as leader or, indeed, the Wasps thing but... she has done a lot of work supporting charities for abused women and the like, and that's certainly a worthy cause.

Not to sure but my wife works at the council and they were told today.....

She was awarded the OBE in 2013 New Year's Honours List for work in local government and also work highlighting domestic violence.

It is fine to get it for charity work but they shouldn't really be given out for doing your job that you are paid for, not a believer in any of the honours system it is outdated as the monarchy.

Every year they like to hand out medival titles to people who dont deserve it (some do of course) we can now add Ann's name to the list of the undeserving.
