Playing, gym, or to the game for me.

Dunno why just never occur to me to wear it elsewhere

So many good quality fakes in Bkk, club and international teams. Bought the Columbia 100% anniversary shirt and the Argentina 50 th anniversary shirt for a combined total of £12 quid.

The new shirt is awful for the gym compared with last seasons. The material doesn't breath as much.

You can get some really decent fakes nowadays, that are pretty much identical to the real versions. It's a good option when the official shirts are £80+.

Saying that, doesn't seem to apply to Coventry shirts though.
Still see fakes of last seasons home shirt around the ground on matchdays and they're a weird turquoise colour usually and the arms are a completely different shade of blue. Look awful

Yeah the big club fakes are pretty good but I guess there is less desire for and competition in selling fake Cov shirts so they can "phone it in" when it comes to the quality of them.

When I was in Thailand earlier this year we went into a few football shops that were selling ‘fakes’ that you’d never be able to tell weren’t genuine. Even had a few shirts that weren’t released at the point too, it was mad.

Yeah, quite a lot of the new kit leaks are when they're found in random shops in China as well.

I've read before that quite a few fakes are made in the same warehouses as the legit kits anyway. Wouldn't surprise me if that's probably true

I wonder if some of these new shirts with the various designs and shapes in the 'background' are designed that way to make them harder to fake?

I did buy a knock off from DHGate last year for my 4 year old daughter, because like fuck am I paying fifty quid for something she'll grow out of in a few months

It's OK, can't imagine anyone is going to notice if a 4 year old is wearing a fake but it's pretty decent (it's the black and gold one).

Certainly wouldn't wear one myself and I doubt I'll get one for my daughter again

Some of the fake CCFC shirts are awful

The King of Shaves one from The FA Cup semi final season some of the ones knocking about had the old badge on - could spot them from a mile off

Bloke in my gym wears a fake last season away shirt. The badge is too big and the KoS back sponsor is massive too.

With that and then me in my mis-sized medium shirt that barely covers my belly we're not a good advert for Coventry City fans.

Reminds me of a joke I was the 'subject' of a few years ago (your team of detriment/mirth can be inserted)
Bloke from Coventry was on holiday in Thailand recently and amongst the usual big clubs shirts of Liverpool, Man U, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc that the locals were wearing he was surprised and overjoyed to notice an inordinate number of them wearing Coventry City shirts.
After a couple of days he could no longer contain his puzzlement so asked one of the local fake shirt manufacturers why so many Thais had adopted CCFC as their favourite team?
The Thai replied, "Oh they're not. These are the only ones we can't sell so we have to give them away".

I've lived in Bangkok for nearly 6 years and I've seen any Cov shirts for sale real or fake.

I don’t get why anyone would want to rob the club, probably the same people that were getting in on kids tickets

Lol I meant I've never seen any on sale genuine or fake in Bkk . Although on the way to a Port FC of Bkk a mate of mine saw a young Thai lad on the MRT wearing a Cov goalkeepers top from about 10 seasons ago.

The fake shirt is so comical that I now take my little nephew around the ground on matchday so he can tally the fake shirts.
