We do have a chance against Spurs I would say, but we need for Lloyd McGrath to have the game of his life and follow Hoddle around like he's his shadow.

Do that and we can indeed bag our first ever FA Cup.

I really think we missed his leadership yesterday
Allen is not a leader, and we needed an on the pitch captain

In the medical world, it is described as a 'Reda' grade tear!

We need the transfer window and the promises made by Doug King although personally I prioritised another forward centre-back now takes priority may be two, hate to say it but if this latest forecast on the McFadz injury is correct we have to forget him, harsh but football is brutal & we have to look to the future and try and bring in a new, younger McFadz permanent or loan but not kids, and early in January not the last day we have Burnley and Norwich back to back and maybe back that up with another, going into the second half of the season with what we have at the moment is very risky imo.

I think come January, we need 2 centre backs, a LWB and probably another striker, at the very least

I would say a rwb over a lwb Kane could well leave. Dabo never fit & now Eccles is side lined, Burroughs good lad but very raw. Definitely need another forward/striker different type to partner Vik

The shopping list gets longer, Doug might have to cut back on pomade.

For me, if we want to make playoffs this season: GK, RCB, CB, RWB minimum. Ideally another CM and ST and a LWB.

Better get William Storey in then he’s got 5 Premiership class stars lined up apparently.

Just two thirds of a team then ?!

Realistically I think I’d take a GK, although wouldnt mind giving Moore another go first and CB. Anything else would be a bonus unless players shipped out

Well only the first four are first teamers then others are needed for cover. And agreed about Moore, just conscious every time we question robins for dropping someone he’s proven right when they finally get a go so worried Moore’s just lost it.

I think we were a RCB down anyway, then with Fadz out for the season that’s another CB. I’d actually be willing to mix between Dabo, Eccles and Burroughs at RWB but if we’re making shopping lists!

Let’s not get away from the fact for 70 minutes we out played one of the better championship teams no need for knee jerk signings just two or three better players added to the first team will make a big difference.

Loosing a 3-0 lead in one match doesn’t mean the team needs decimating, they played very well for 70 minutes. But we do need better players asap if we are to seriously push towards the top six, all teams do. We are seriously stretched now in defence relying on too many young guns, need to get to January with a couple of wins at least then recruit ready for the Burnley game on the 14th.

Agree. We have three pretty good central defenders but no cover. We will miss McFadzean's experience and he was also playing as well as he ever has just before the World Cup break. I feel we need to bring in someone with that type of experience for the rest of the season. A Matty James type loan is needed. It won't be cheap but could be crucial to our development as a club. Otherwise if one or two defenders get injured and we could be struggling. I assume either Sheaf or Bidwell would have to move into the defence which could cause problems in their own positions.

It's also a pity Eccles seems to have got injured. I thought he was starting to look a real asset in the right wing back role. He was one of our best players against QPR. I like Burroughs too but it feels like he is a year or two behind Eccles in terms of development so this position is a concern. Dabo never seems fully fit and I am not convinced Kane is good enough.

I also feel we can't keep playing Allen and O'Hare together. OK Allen has scored a few recently but lining up like this means that we only have two players who are capable of scoring many goals in Gyokeres and Hamer. Having three largely non scoring midfielders and one striker is not sustainable in my view. Either Palmer or Walker have to come into the side.

Don’t see why we need 2 more wing backs
