lets face the fact that jennings most probably won't sign. it's dissappointing as he sounds the pefect fit for our squad as we need some strength + passing ability to balance the midfield! we have too many defensive midfielders atm in my opinion. I dislike the 4231 formation as it fails to accommodate the forwards.
so far, against fairly weak scottish opposition, we have had quite a few key players missing but that's no excuse for the shambles of the bast few days. I dislike the formation as it adds no attacking threat and the players seem to be out of sync.
improve the formation and make us tactically more aware, such as adding pressure to the ball possessor and passing the ball around with attacking intent. keep an eye on our men and defend sensibly.
murphy has got to be dropped!! he may be a decent shot stopper but for a keeper who can't come for crosses, command his box or catch the ball, he's a real worry! does anyone feel safe with him in goal? Dunn must be better!
i fancy us bringing in a new keeper, a strong passer in the centre of midfield and a quick sharp striker?
change the formation to 41212.
we have a good enough squad to get us promoted but the form has to come early on and consistency has got to be a huge factor!
