Hasn't done enough to get one!

I am not sure he is high on our list of priorities now is he?

Again, Mowbray's choice. I assume he has alternatives lined up?

Glad there was little panic and Mowbray didnt feel he HAD to sign him.
Never been overly impressed with him from what I've seen

The situation can't be as desperate as some seem to think if Mowbray is happy not to take players like this and wait for a better option. Or maybe he already has a better option with Reid.

Shame as I thought he looked ok but we really don't need more in his position. Reid, Jones, Lameires and Spence are better than most teams have

i wouldnt mind another player to play in the 2 or 3 behind striker but glad that TM is not settling for just anyone.

good signs!

if we play 3-4-2-1 this season then in the 2 we currently have:

reid
lameries
jones
g thomas
spence

the 2 obviously being mix of wingers/inside forwards/number 10's

5 is a good number but i am sure TM is keeping tabs on possible adding another if budget allows. lets not forget loans of course. AA or JM could have played this role last year, i am sure TM will be brining in another attacker yet

As I said he looked lively but no better than Thomas from what I seen, it would be better to develop Thomas than pay money out for him...good luck to him though

We have Lamieras, Spence, Reid, Thomas and Jones so pointless to sign him really, also Bilal Sayoud looks like a real prospect, cant wait to see him once he is back from injurt

Very quick, athletic player who is very direct, takes on players for fun and his end product is very consistent, suffered a injury in pre season but should be back in 2-3 weeks

I'm happy TM isn't settling for a player just because he's been let down by a few transfers that haven't come to fruition. TM clearly has a set plan and is keeping to it. Think Fabian Robert was just here as an option to see if he could offer anything different, shame he couldn't prove himself enough to earn a contract but it now gives our young development players a chance to drive themselves into the first team. It's likely he would've overtaken the likes of G. Thomas or Spence in the pecking order which would've been counter-productive as I think these two could really offer something this year. Good luck to Fabian hope he manages to find another club soon

While the squad size is a concern, if he was signing players just because they were there Mowbray would be a stylish pair of shoes away from being Pressley.
