Awful start from City, really struggling to play through Liverpool's press.

Really do prefer liverpools style to watch as opposed to city

Inevitable that. City look shellshocked every time they're put under pressure despite knowing that it's exactly what Liverpool always do.

Shocker from the City goalkeeper.

you'd be pissed off if Moore did that in an early round of the League Cup, let alone Steffen in an FA Cup semi

Team in Sky Blue 2-0 down? Might put a get on 4-2 after what I saw yesterday

Grealish looking very much a system player

that's got to be it. 2-0 and Pep has a chance to work some half time magic but surely Liverpool aren't going to let them back into this one.

It's a team showing they have made many changes. Look totally disjointed.

Always surprises me when the elite managers won’t make in game changes. You could see in the first five minutes they were gonna be vulnerable pissing around at the back. With that keeper it should have been a fairly swift instruction to launch the thing upfield. Some will say fair play for sticking to his principles but it’s almost certainly cost them a place in the final. Bizarre imo.

Given the fans’ response to the minutes silence Ill be pleased to see them go out now.

Tbf Thiago, Mane, Salah and Fabinho all only played half hour in the Champions League midweek and Van Dijk, Trent and Robertson all got rested completely. Man City had a battle against Atleti and picked up a couple of injuries.

Not saying I feel sympathetic in any way, but probably explains at least some of it

Grealish with quick reply 70 seconds after the break .. you wouldn't be happy with that defending if you were klopp

Was lucky not to get a yellow first half, so if anything doubly lucky to be on the pitch after that challenge!

Should have been 3-2, it's Liverpool playing themselves into trouble this half.

Think overall Liverpool have been far better just a few classic lapses. Salah really should have scored by his standards.

It’s gone now I reckon. Bet they wish they could bring Gyokores and COH on for some late goals.

Salah has actually been really poor recently 1 goal in 10.

It's just not going for him having watched Liverpool's last 3/4 games, I think it's one of those where if he gets one he will go on a hell of a run.
