A few upsets today, who do we want? Still 2 8th tier teams left after Maldon and Tiptree beat Leyton Orient and Chichester got the bye.

Someone shit so we have a good chance of getting to a 3rd round (or beyond) moneyspinner to boost the coffers. There's only so many kits we can release in a season.

I'd fancy Boston or Dover, a lower end team that's out of the media spotlight. Any smaller teams the BBC follows tends to have a decent run

Am I right in saying that we're the only team going into the second round that have ever won the tournament?

Sunderland replay all the way down in Gillingham could do us a favour.

Maidstone away. I can get the bus there. Dover away. I can hop on the train. Or Gillingham away in the unlikely event they beat Scumberland.
And yes I am selfish.

Seems a bit unfair that Orient had to play both Maldon and Tiptree but think we'd be OK

Maidstone would be good as went to their match yesterday and they were pretty poor. However they have a plastic pitch! Dover are struggling this season too.

Yes Maidstone had a major overhaul of their team in the summer. Saw them play in a pre-season friendly at Herne Bay. And you're right they weren't very good.
