I absolutely love the FA Cup, this weekend sees the 1st round of Qualifying. Always check out the progress of all the local teams.

Holwell Sports v BEDWORTH UNITED
Ilkeston v RUGBY TOWN (who knocked out Coventry Sphinx in preliminary round)
LEAMINGTON v Stamford
STRATFORD TOWN v Coalville Town

I also look up any sports that involve Coventry sides.
Just wondered is it just me? Very Proud (or sad) Coventry Kid.

Just wondered is it just me? Very Proud (or sad) Coventry Kid.

I do the same but I pretty much only pay attention to Coventry Sphinx, Coventry United (who I did not see in the FA Cup), Copsewood and maybe Bedworth.
I look at all the results and get a kick out of some of the team names. It's amazing how many league club towns/cities have additional non-league teams, sometimes several. Coventry is actually pretty poor off for non-league teams. Does anyone remember Coventry Sporting Club that one year had a good cup run and played a tie at Highfield Road?

Bedworth and Leamington both drew and replay tonight, Stratford lost at home. Rugby Town march on lol.

Rugby play Lincoln United on 26 Sept in 2nd rd qualifying, Nuneaton enter here and play away at Halesowen.

Bedworth through to play Hednesford Town, Leamington lost.

Rugby Town and Nuneaton both through, play away on 10 October in 3 rd qualifying, 2 more wins and they make the hat in the main draw!!
