I'm from Bedrock so agree about Coventry Centre in general.
I've had some great times in Kent. My Gran had a B&B in Margate in the 60's 70's.

Now, if we're talking about dumps... Quite pleased we got you in the cup. Hoping for a replay back up this way after having made my way across to Cambridge at the weekend. My closest league game next weekend as well, away at Solihull Moors.

Ah yes - remember now. Hurst ran in as keen as mustard and the rebound bounced of his shin and went in (saw it on telly and vowed never to watch City again - I broke my vow)

I was behind the goal with my brother and think we were still shaking our heads in disbelief for the what seemed like a lifetime coach journey back to Cov. Looking at it again, Hurst was a bit unlucky as Dion scuffed the rebound into Hurst's path (and my annoyance is tempered by the way Hurst's career ended doing his knee in on Gould's pre-season army escapade) -

Dover sounds good to me. Have a few days in the south of France if I can get the time off.

Yes Dover is a dump. But it isn't all bad. Just like Coventry if you are being truthful. Just like most cities.

Keeping my fingers crossed for a Cambridge game. It will be my 4th Cov game at the Abbey.

Only been to Dover once and that was in 1976 when me and our kid decided to hitch-hike around Europe. Crossed at Dover and had about two weeks dossing around in France and Italy. Plenty of "continental Woodbines" smoked! Nearly got arrested by armed, plain-clothes cops in Italy! Happy days!

Hold on. We haven't won the replay yet! Surely, you don't think its a forgone conclusion since we should have lost the first game 3-1.

And to think that Morecambe are playing crap at home but great away. They were hoping for a draw before the game so they can beat us in the replay.

I've a mate who is a Cambridge fan. We went to see them in their cup run in 198/9x? for a couple of ties. First time I saw Dion play.
