Just read elsewhere that there is a cash bonus for the team in each division of The Championship, L1 and L2 that progresses the furthest in the FA Cup. If Watford beat Tranmere, I think that only leaves us, Pompey (Barnsley) , Shrewsbury (Liverpool) and Oxford (Newcastle) left in the 4th round? £250k up for grabs and think only Pompey have as good a chance as us. if we beat Blues to perhaps grab it, or share it, it will be useful income. Happy days

Nice bonus - Northampton stand to scoop £250k if Cardiff win at Carlisle tonight as the last L2 side standing.

Is this a new incentive? as we went the furthest out of all the league two teams in season 2017/2018.

Emirates FA Cup Divisional Progress Prize

Don’t know why CCFC never published this unless we all missed it

So this means technically if we a get a replay and others in our division get knocked out immediately. Then would we get it?

Doubt it. It will be the round you get knocked out in, otherwise you could stay in longest by keep having your game postponed! Will just be shared between teams if more than one remaining. All 4 knocked out is £62.5k each

It’s shared between clubs if more than one from the same division make it to the furthest round together.
If you are the only club from your division to proceed to the furthest round you get the cash.

250k. Hefty little bonus! Brilliant incentive for distributing more cash for clubs in lower leagues!

You’d think they could toss in a few quid for the last person to leave the stadium.

Not bad at all that.

We have earned 225,000 from the progress so far. If we beat Birmingham that's another £180,000 and then depending on other progress an extra £250,000.
Not even taking into account Gate money etc it's worth almost 3/4 of a million.

Update
If we sell out (likely) then that roughly works out at £400,000 45% share minus costs probably another £150,000 minimum from this tie.

Really is so important for us to do as well as we can.
