Tamworth robbed of a chance of a replay at the spurs ground and the buckets of cash that would come with it.

Anyone but Leicester, I'm still savouring that 3-1 from this time last year!

It was intended as a bit of fun and providing an alternative view.
I would like it as its localish to me and a friend is a Preston fan.

I did some extra analysis post the season we beat Preston.
Interesting, to me anyway, Barnsley were runners up that year and won cup two years later. They were denied entry to top flight in expansion season after first world war despite finishing 3rd in level 2 and Arsenal were originally 6th. Arsenal bribed there way into top flight and have never left top flight.
It took 80 years for Barnsley to finally get to top flight and lasted one season.
Even more interesting to me anyway, Arsenal 6th place position in 1915 was corrected to 5th 60 years later to 5th in 1975 due to a mathematical error!!!
How amazing is that??? Answers on a postcard. I love history and football history.

I've never heard that about Arsenal before. I'm a history geek too and love stories like that

I deleted that extra stuff around Barnsley and Arsenal post afterwards as I thought it would sound to geekish. Obviously there are some others around!!

A cold wet afternoon in Stoke-on-Trent is not a great occasion. They aren't Barcelona

Best one for me too, followed by Plymouth away. But yeah getting a ticket will be a struggle; I had to go in their end when we played them in League 2

Bit odd that the draw is happening while a game is still in progress?

One of the worst possible draws. Doubt they'll even sell the end out.

Not great draw. But we are at home and will have a chance. Hopefully they rotate to prioritise premier league survival but regardless they will be favourites
