Best outcome is that it’s away - won’t cost us anything

Norwich will be resting players for sure, especially with their backlog of injuries. Our side will probably depend on how many points we've racked up by then.

Agreed just crap for both teams. If we’re going to go out at least do it in style

I will say it , survival in league more important than cup

If we beat Norwich and get a shit draw then I’d rather have the 3 points if we met them in the league. We beat Stoke when we were in L2 and they were prem and then got Brighton, who were also prem, and despite being the lowest placed team left in we still didn’t get a live game. Bollocks competition and has been so for 20 years.

The “romance of the game” phrase (bullshit as it always was) only exists for the non league clubs (as it should) but anything beyond that is prem v prem for money. Can’t say I blame em. We ain’t a team that will draw viewers.

I cant be the only one actually glad about this?

Imagine how horrid it would have been to draw Liverpool or Villa or someone away when we cant attend

Got all excited as I got home from work and forgot about the draw , only to check and be absolutely fucking gutted. What a waste of a cup tie

Worse teams to have drawn, so I don't mind. Regardless of injuries, no way will they field a full strength side whilst they are striving for the autos, so we'll have a sporting chance in my opinion (not that my opinion counts for much) Max to score the winner?!

Spin a coin, neither club interested. Coventry want to stay up and they want to go up.

Sooner play them than get the likes of Middlesbro away, or Man City etc away (where we could get a pasting) We still have a chance, fans can't go so Man Utd etc away is irrelevant regarding a fans day out, BCD means a 'pay day' was never on re: big crowd. Only downside is travel for the players. Yes, Cheltenham or Chorley would have been easier, but we'll have more chance than the likes of Boremingham (Man City away) so it's an ok draw imo.

Edit re: Boremingham - how can their fans fork out £10 a game to watch nil most games? Dreadful stuff.

Best thing about that tie is we can’t go.

Not that bad - the side that just won the Norwegian league have their nearest fixture something like 900 miles away (I might be slightly out, but it is that kind of ridiculous)!!

I don’t think we pay by the game the transport do we? I’m sure we own the bus - didn’t Mowbray do a paint job on it?

besides I mean that opening up st andrews would cost far more behind closed doors. Costwise It must cost us more to host a home game than it would travel somewhere
