It doesn’t matter who we drew. Prioritise the league this year. Play second string/youth in cup. Love the cup but this year we have to give it a miss

People say the same thing every year. It was the same in League 2 where people said focus on the league.

It was the same 2 years ago when we drew Sheffield Wednesday and then went on to have two of the best days we'll ever get following the club.

Neither side will want it and both (hopefully) will go weakened. I’m begging Frank!

I genuinely cannot give a fuck and would be over it 5 minutes after the final whistle if we lost

Poor draw... but not awful. We won't have far to travel, fringe players might have a point to prove to MR as well as FL.

TNT, BBC and ITV must be fighting over this fixture

McCoists not got the memo, he thinks it'll be a great game?!

Wank draw for the small teams too. I do love the cup draws but maybe they could seed the minnows guarantee them a Prem team or something?

Nah wouldn't want that

Can say it's a shit draw but also bracket Burton or borehan wood WILL be in the 4th round

I can see both clubs playing weakened teams, with the second choices starting and kids on the bench. If we find ourselves in front then bring our best players off and put the kids on

For the first time in my life I don't want a cup run. That can wait until next year unless, of course, we are fighting against relegation or for a place in the Champions League.

Boro got Fulham away so fair chance we'll both be out and the league fixture will go ahead as scheduled.

You would hope so

insincere glory fans are better than fans who genuinely want us to lose I guess

I wonder how many they'll give us. They have to give us at least 4500 for the 15% but considering their away end has been moved, maybe they give us the entire end behind the goal and some of the corner?

I bet tickets will be around £15. Could be a fun day out for a lot of people who haven't been able to get tickets recently.

But they still wont go. Instead, they'll come on here crying they've got no points, and its unfair, and its a closed shop, when we get through to the 4th round and draw Villa away and they cant get a ticket.

Oh we’ll still be going anyway as it’s right by the in laws so babysitting’s easy, but I won’t be too upset if we go out.

They will go. We sold out Sheffield Wednesday on a Friday a few years ago.

When it's cheap and a high allocation, people love it.

I guess the positive is, if we drew a Premier League big dog, we’d probably have played our first team. I don’t think we will now.

This is a good point. Nobody would blame Lampard for resting players here (which they need)

They have discretion as to how many they give. They have capacity for 4800 but also have to follow the guidance of the safety group depending on the fan base, importance of the tie and availability of Police etc.

Great draw... Hopefully Robins will do us and play his own part in enabling our return to the PL.

Echo the sentiments of many.

Shit draw, play the kids and reserves and if we go out, we go out.

Won't be many Stoke there. I think we may get a few more than that.

Expect a win here - Robins will play the U18s. He never tended to prioritise the cups.

About the worst draw possible. I suspect pride will lead Robins to play a full strength team.

Not going, and I barely ever not go

Just not spending money on a ticket, trains and beer tokens on the day out to watch Lampard and Robins play their second string in a game neither will be arsed about winning at a shit ground I have been to a million times before

Mmmm, not sure the interest will be there for us either really-maybe if it’s priced correctly?
