I watched Preston v. Wigan, to keep an eye on our Raph. Seemed like either team could barely get forward but Preston really faffed about. Raph's instructions may have been to stay back for defensive purposes rather than making too many forward actions? Still, decent show.
Everyone on Wigan team seemed to benefit with a +2, +3 player rating on the BBC match report just for winning the game. Asamoah impressed, I'll add.

Ah you misunderstand Clint. I don’t want either of them in the game, they can both piss off.

We're well past the point of there being any sort of governance regarding ownership
We've had, or currently have, Russian Oligarchs, Greek Oligarchs, corrupt Thais, hedge funds, Gulf states, in the grand scheme of things these grinning thespian simpletons are far from the worse.

We never saw many Jack Walkers or Steve Gibsons before, we'll see even less now, not in the top 2 leagues anyway unfortunately

I can understand the reality of English football while also not liking it and furthermore not cheering on some of the leading piss takers in the system.

I'm past the point of caring to be honest.
When we've been balls deep with the Saudis for decades and the POTUS is defending the Khashoggi murder I'm not sure why football should try to be some beacon of morality.

To each his own I guess, the bigger problem is that each club doing what they do sends transfer and wages into increasingly ridiculous proportions that encourage other clubs to either risk their futures or accept mediocrity.

They’re ruining the game.

Fuelled by supporters.
You only have to look at the reaction to some on here if you suggest spending less than 100 mil in the event of promotion.
