its not as if we are doing anything but damage our club the way we are and can you really see it getting better?? we will be going down one year soon so id rather go now and start to build,,which we could from league 1 because with our core of 9-10000 fans would at least be enough to compete in that league,,prem and top of championship for now is out of our reach because we do not have the hardcore fan base therefore we do not have a big enough budget

bluesky, I admire your "glass half full" outlook but, honestly, no good can come out if relegation. Stop looking at other clubs and concentrate on our because our circumstances are so much different. We need to stay up to survive. The ONLY thing attractive about our club right now is the league we're in. Take that away and we'll end up like Bradford and Luton. I don't fancy hosting Burton Albion or worse for the next 30 years!

At this rate, Nuneaton Borough will be a bigger club than us within about 10 years,

its only my opinion,, we are not attractive to anyone im affraid no one is going to buy us so im basing my opinion on the fact of where we are not the hope of someone buying us and where we are is not good enough for this league

Hear, hear, Torchy! Relegation would be a disaster from which we may never recover.

So relegation could be good for us? :thinking about:

We would need our first promotion in about 44 years just to get back to where we are now

Come on dont be so negative, at least our promotion record is a bit better than our cup winning record

We last won a cup in 87. Last promotion was in 67 I think

Relgation is inevitable but I am perplexed how anyone could view this as positive. Look at other big clubs who struggle in the division below (Sheff Weds for example). It is delusional to think with this squad, fan-base etc. we would have a prayer at promotion.

It would be a disaster.

Spot on. We would become the Sheffield Wednesday, Luton or Bradford.

You only "want us to be relegated" because you are resigned to us being relegated, therefore you are looking for a positive spin on the situation. If we were any higher than 20th position this thread wouldn't exist.
