I doubt the RRP is set by the club.

RRP on the new Pompey shirt is £49.99. If a fan owned club is charging that for a shitty Sondico kit and changing the kit every season I don't think we're getting a bad deal.

Yes replica shirts are expensive but that applies to every club and we're not really in a position to be leading the way with selling everything at a low price given our lack of revenue streams.

I'm not going to go to games then, I am going to constantly moan that we haven't signed big profile, well paid players though.

I think a key point many of you are missing is that the basic shirt is a cheap & nasty piece of nike nylon tat that I wouldn't bury a dead cat in....and I hate cats....

At least if you buy said shit item from the club shop, it shows your support for the club....

....if you buy the generic version from elsewhere.....it just shows you're a cheapskate with piss poor taste in clothes....

You mean it isn't fashionable to go down the pub in a generic football shirt?

you can go down the pub in it if you like Nick......I'd suggest a wetherspoons or yates wine lodge or similar so at least you'll be one of the better dressed patrons....

Personally, I'd rather wear the dead cat!

Might try it out later, just waiting for my black socks to dry. Can't possibly wear sandals without them in this weather.

My f*&king lord....are you serious?! Are you the type of person to complain that we don't spend money on players??

As a club, we've taken a hit on ticket prices per person for next season (regardless of the reasons why) which means per supporter, less income per ticket. Our shirts are in line with every single other club in the English league system.

Seriously unbelievable Jeff....

Given my pathologically hatred of grown men in cheap polyester replica football tops and being charged £stupid for the privilege this amuses me
