It's got to the point where fans will only make a difference if they do something extreme. Not sure what that is, but it's not holding signs up and chanting! Any thoughts? I and a lot of other fans are at boiling point...

Just focus on the Pornograffiti era and all will be well.

Put aside all the obsessions and get behind the manager & the team, we all need to stick together and have belief & faith.

Continuity & Stability because the revolving door policy this club has adopted in the past has rarely worked (if ever) and has probably been responsible for where we find ourselves today? PUSB

It wont be extreme, it will be slow. Seeing the amount of season ticket holders not attend the last home game really does set alarm bells at how low the attendance could fall in the next 18 months. The owners arent going anywhere, all we can do is vote with our feet.

1. Take a deep breath. 2. Realise there are more important things in life than CCFC. 3. Expect us to play horribly and lose every game then when we get a point or a win you'll be pleasantly surprised.

It's also worth noting that there are always 3 Sides to Every Story

Whilst I acknowledge your consistency, surely you are displaying obsessive obstinacy in not acknowledging any failings of our owners/wanting them to change?

Now we've got to do it with out a goal keeper, Alsop has gone back to fight for a new contract and it's his choice not the clubs. About sums us up, he'd rather be third choice than first choice under Pressley. The further we sink the happier the owners seem to be, just waiting for the inevitable relegation. I think the only way of hurrying up their exit is by denying them funds to tick over, it may mean relegation but we're heading that way any how, just attend away games and boycott the home ones. Direct action generally leads to people getting themselves banning orders and the like and theirs hardly enough fans left for it to be that effective. I would love for someone to suggest something that every faction could unite behind but apathy is the biggest enemy now, fans have given up.

...and that's the worse thing! Whatever it is they are trying to do, THEY ARE WINNING. The apathy is very worrying, SISU must be sat at home belly laughing into their Chateau neuf du pape

RFC pops in, throws his smoke bomb and then disappears.
revolving doors aren't responsible for where the team is now.
most teams have a revolving door history and some prosper, some don't . there aren't many examples of managers turning it round after such a long poor run of results.
can he point to any sensible signs of improvement on the field over the last 12 months that could justify giving this manager more time?

I am extreme, I am sat all day on photoshop making images about SISU and thinking up tick lists to tweet to show everybody why I am the biggest SISU hater. My target is 10 retweets!

The core of the problem is obviously SISU but the one area which the fans can have a say in is removal of the manager. There have been a few murmurings of late but the 'Pressley out' campaign will become rife in the coming weeks unless he flukes another couple of wins.

It's not like it would affect the performance of the team which literally cannot get any worse.

Failing that, putting him Fisher and Waggott in the stocks in Broadgate allowing us to throw whatever we pleased would make a lot of us feel better. Throw RFC in there for good measure!

Correct. This idiotic idea that Pressley should stay because we have sacked too many managers in the past is a farce. The reason managers have been replaced is that they have failed. The problem has been that we have invariably appointed another sap who has been as bad or worse. The only exception was Robins who buggered off when he realised what the club's owners were really like.

The manager is not good enough and neither are most of his players. We keep appointing managers and signing players that nobody else in this league wants. If you keep making the same mistakes, you keep getting the same results. There has been no stability for years and the only continuity has been continual failure. Why would we continue with Pressley? He is clueless in this crisis.

I don't think anyone wants to be chopping and changing manager every five minutes but if there's no sign of things getting better what else do you do? We're getting the same arguments as we did with Thorn and we know how that ended up. This division is so bad it will take a big effort to go down but at the moment we look like the squad is going to be even weaker when the transfer window closes and we're bottom of the form table, not to mention all the teams below us who have played less games.

If we are going to change the need to do it now and get someone in ASAP to a least give them a chance to make a couple of changes before the window shuts.
