just watched the 20 mins extended highlights on sky blues player, and i'm much happier than i was when reading about the game afterwards. from those ext highlights, we created some huge chances, that just weren't converted. it is apparent, however, that our defending under the high ball is massively suspect. the second equaliser was awful - everyone dropped off so deep into the box to make sure that we had enough bodies back to defend a long throw, and port vale were able to just hurl it in from deep inside our half as a result.
overall, though, there was plenty of positives to take away from the game. on another day, it finishes 4-1 to us. what murphy was doing for the last goal is anyone's guess...
