Sounds like most of our fans on social media have written Simms off already.

Simms looked off it for me. But has the right ideas and is in the right places so hopefully it will click.

Palmer was class. Hamer changed it.

The looked like a team that only met each other a few weeks ago funnily enough.

He was terrible wasn't he?! But he will undoubtedly come good.

Hamer is different gravy.

Actually felt godden played quite well , lead the line well and probably should have scored 2 or 3

But I fully expect him to be 3rd 4th choice when we've finished our business , the hate is as usual unwarranted

Simms will bag 20 , I have no worries

Decent run out. Would have been nice to tonk them but wasn't to be. Can't read too much into friendlies be they wins or losses most of the time

Palmer MOTM

New keeper made a few fuck ups but seemed comfortable with ball at feet and sweeped up as passing option when required.

Reality check on sakamoto I guess. He ain't gonna skin people all 90 mins long but he can hurt teams for sure

Hamer is best player we have. So important to keep him

Simms had a poor game but think it's fine margins. Godden got one core sheet but missed a alot of clear cut chances. Would love him as rotational option but want a new striker for starting 11 personally.

BT and JL looked alright. Defence needs time to gel though

Overall think we will do well this season but 3-4 incomings could be crucial to just how well

I really like our back three, and I think though he’ll have our hearts in our mouths a few times Collins will give us a different dynamic building from the back, we’ll give the ball away a lot less and play further up the pitch.

I think Hamer, van Ewijk, and whoever ends up partnering Simms will be key to our forward play so not sure what we can learn there.

Liked the bit I saw of Binks as well.
