He’s found his level again! I’m joking of course. Would be interesting to see how he’d do in our current team.

Daniel Sturridge: England forward's contract terminated at Trabzonspor

Does He even count as Ex Player?

anyhow, over to joy to find that spare 80k a week to cover a short term contract so he can fire us to the Championship. I'm sure Daniel would be up for completing unfinished (un-started) business

Played 16 games this year he must be exhausted he could do a job at any of the bottom feeders in the prem but Villa would seem likeliest. He must have something sorted to have agreed the termination.

It is if they become a free agent outside of the window. If he became a free agent within the Window it would be different.

Looks a good career move for Burge at the end of his contract I wouldn’t be shocked to see him back in league 2 where he belongs.

He's not much of an example to young players is he?
Cash has always seemed his top priority

The move to turkey must have been cash based I can’t think it’s a great place to play

Smart move, getting someone in to brief the players/board on how to get relegated in style.

Given his injury record he may as well base his moves on money rather than actual playing time. You don't bother showing him the training facilities or stadium - just the standard of the physio's room.

Reading what went on displays a pretty unattractive sense of entitlement
Getting friends and family to bet on potential moves
One guy lost £10k when a move fell through

The mind boggles as to how they think it wouldn't get spotted. surely numerous people lumping big sums onto a fairly left field move would get flagged.

also cant understand why someone like him who has been reportedly very well paid for a long time would take the risks. idiots

For the money he was making though, why would be bother? Why would he think he wouldn't get caught?
