Dion Kelly-Evans has found a new team, Kettering Town. He's going up against Ivor Lawton's Halesowen Town today.

Well I guess, they’re playing one step below National league South, which is a good standard of football, but a fair way from a professional footballers life. I guess they’ve both had to find ‘proper’ jobs as the money they get from Kettering/Halesowen will not be brilliant, I wouldn’t think. I suppose this happens to a lot of kids, eh?

James Maddison and Callum Wilson both scored in the Premier League

Marc Antoine Fortune and Zavon Hines scored Chesterfield’s goals as they lost 3-2 away at big spenders Salford City. Kyel Reid also played

Wilson goal:

2 in 2 so far for him. If he can stay fit this season a possible England call up awaits

I was at the London stadium yesterday
Wilson terrorised West Ham's defence all day
If he stays free of injury one of the top clubs will be in for him

From what I’ve seen he thankfully doesn’t seem to have lost much pace despite his serious injuries.

The stadium?
It's great
The media overplay the fans moaning about it - losing all the time is the reason the West Ham fans were complaining

I disagree but I think ultimately athletics will br bought out and given money to develop Alexander stadium in Birmingham
That's British Athletics' HQ anyway and they need to build it up to hold 50,000 for the Commonwealth Games
Once it's set up for football and community events, concerts etc it will be fine

Billy Daniels now playing for Kiddermister Harriers in the Conference North after leaving Nuneaton. Kidderminsters manager is ex-city assistant manager Neil MacFarlane.

MacFarlane replaced ex-City player John Eustace in the summer who is now at QPR as assistant to Steve McLaren.

Lee Fowler is at Nuneaton Borough as assistant manager.

Three others under consideration are Leicester midfielder James Maddison, Wolves centre-back and skipper Conor Coady and Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson.

Maddison has started his debut campaign in the Premier League with a bang, impressing for the Foxes during the opening fixture at Old Trafford.

The £25m signing followed that up with a goal against Wolves last weekend and is already making strong claims for a Three Lions spot.

Yeah he’s technically excellent. Got called up for England when we were in L2. Turned down some big clubs to stay here but United came in and he supports them

So he might get a couple of cup games in the next few years get loaned out and then sold to Preston and then drift down the leagues, here he would be on the edge of the first team squad already.

Heard John Murray and Chris Waddle waxing lyrical about Maddison in the build up to the matches on Sat. Both said he had a good chance of being in the next England squad and Waddle said he's exactly the sort of creative, technically gifted attacking midfielder that England lack. So what we've been saying would happen on here for ages, tbh...

I think both will make the England squad this time, Wilson is a clever player and runs into very good areas, that with his pace at any level creates problems for defenders. Probably needs a better first touch, but give him a chance he will create and score. Maddison is a player that has stepped up no matter the level, so is international football to high!! only playing will give the answers. He does offer us something we don't have at the minute and looks a very good player at Prem level.

If both make the team it would be very impressive for a team that has just come from the fourth division to have an academy that has produced three capped players in the last year.
