Joe Murphy played for Tranmere at the age of 44 on Satdee!

Wasted talent Jordy Hiwula (who seems to have played for ages but is only 30) scored for Boston Utd.

Coventrian James Collins scored his 200th and 201st EFL goal to join Sharpe and Rhodes in the 200 club.

I was at the Boston game on saturday. He took his goal well but also spurned a great chance in the last minute. Most Boston fans i spoke with didnt seem convinced by him.

Bags of pace, bit of trickery but that was about it. Looked promising in that first season in L1, when we seemed to sign about 20 players.

Didn't Hiwula get our first vs Pompey at F.Park when we drew 3-3 (the Kastaneer slide red card game)?

Hit double figures for us one season didn’t he? Surprised he’s dropped that far.

Leo Ostigard on the scoresheet in the Norway game. Scoring for the wrong team mind you, but still.

He'd come on as a sub the previous minute.

Make your mark on the game quickly, that's the trick.

I'm not - his career was hardly stellar after leaving us

That’s what he’s saying he’s surprised about. That it went so far downhill after leaving us.

Hiwula was decent towards the back end of that 18/19 season when he was part of that Luke Thomas/Bright/Hiwula/Bakayoko front 4

I think he got bombed out in the L1 promotion season, remember MR mentioning him not being willing to play through a minor injury (or something to that effect)?

Missed a penalty at MKDons in a 0-0 draw. Never looked remotely like he was going to score and I think that was him done at the club tbh.

I think there was some rumblings that he was still keen on knocking about with his mates from Manchester

IIRC he was shown the door after he threw down his shirt after being subbed in a FA Youth Cup tie.

Matt Godden looks like he is out long term for Charlton seems he played through last season with knee injury. Good striker when fit and firing. Wish him good recovery

Godden is a bit like Sheaf, good player but could never keep him fit. Was always out for a fair part of each season

Sheaf makes his Wrexham debut coming on for Matty James in the 61st minute. Ironic really at James displaced Sheaf in our first season back in the Championship.

Not good to hear. How serious are we talking, he must be mid-30s now so any long term injury will come with added concern.

Rapha sat on the bench again watching Wigan get smashed.

Not saying he would be a game changer for us but just seems pointless.

He’d have only been on the bench watching us. He will actually get on for Wigan and has a chance for pushing for a starting spot.

Frank would have gone 3-5-2 before playing Rapha.
